my week november 15th-21st

My week was a good and a busy week. Sunday went to church which Neil preached and went to the city where I bought 2 CD's by PAul Anka and Johnny Burnette. monday-friday which was very busy as I did clean mail for most of that week from amrketing and the hospital has been very busy as usual which it's good and during the week Jay from CCt finished after 7 years and also met Lan(QML),Sally(Theater) and Nicole(Allied Health). on thursday went to dr peter Fletcher's as he had to signed forms for a housing thing and friday went to egt medicare @ Carindale. saturday went to ten pin bowling which i scored 115,138 and 132 and a quiet afternoon at home

the searchers Australian 2010 tour

Hi there, i am writing to annouce that the legendary UK 60's rock group the Searchers known for their many hits Sweets For mySweet,when you walk in the room, don't throw your love away, sugar and spice,needles and pins etc are coming back to australia in january 2010 and they will BE PLAYING IN qUEENSLAND,nsw,act AND Western Australia. The line-up of the Searchers that are still touring are original member John McNally on guitar and vocals, Frank Allen on bass and vocals since August 1964, Spencer James lead vocals and guitar since 1985 and on drum and vocals since 1998 Eddie Rothe and if you want to see them check them out as they are very good and put on an great show doing hits and other people songs as well as a very good sense of humour. my week november 8th-14th

My week was another good one and busy as usual. Let's begin with sunday as I did'nt go to church due to robert Gordon being sick but had an quiet one at home. went to work monday-friday which it was busy as usual doing the mail,filing,parcel statements and taking mail to UHCG. On tuesday Jay from CCT told me that he was leaving, had clean mail done on wednesday and had 2 ladies Judy and carol from Australia Post talking to beth,myself and sandy about charity mail which the meeting lasted 1 hour and 30 minutes. Thursday night got my haircut from Curly M which ella cut my hair and friday after went to city and went to see the Chevrolets @ Easts LEagues club which it was FANTASTIC and saw Michelle from harmony League. Saturday went to ten pin bowling which i scored 161,162 and 116 and went to the movies where i saw The Boys Are Back which was touching,sad,funny and Brilliant which i gave it 4 and a half stars and saw Emma Drake from 4E and her boyfriend Shaun

Yesterday afternoon, i went to see balmoral cinema to see the new australian movie called the Boys are BAck which it was inspired by a true story and it's about an an wise-cracking British sports journalist named Joe Warr(clive Owen) living in regional South Australia with his wife Katie(Laura fraser) and 6 year old son Artie(nicholas McAnulty). Clive finds himself in an sudden state of being an Single Father after the death of Katie and WITH eMOTIONS SWIRLING AND THE ARRIVAL of Harry(George MacKay) Joe's eldest son from another marriage and he get's friendly with Laura(emma Booth) whose daughter Lucy is friendly with Artie. Joe is faced with raising 2 sons in a household devoid of feminine influence and an unabashed lack of rules. Joe and the sons had to find a way to grow up and move forward with thier lives. my week november 1st-7th

My week last week was very good which began on Sunday as Iw ent to church which John Lynch preached, went to the state lirbary where i saw ashley and did some research on my family history which i found out about my Uncle eric's grandparents which they were married in 1881, had an elder sister born in 1882 and a brother in 1883, my great grandmother Caroline Handsley was buried in dalby in 1966 and 4 of the hagenbachs died in 1940,1954,1961 and 1963. walk to the city where i had chicken and ships for lunch, saw emma drake an nurse from st andewws @ 4E,saw ashley spicer again and had a look at the shops where i bought 2 books about Billy Thorpe and mama cass. monday-friday went to work which was busy and met martin from QML on friday and also last found out that sue from medical insitute & Margaret from Young at heart are leaving st andrews. billy thorpe's Time on Earth book by Jason Walker

I bought this book @ Target in the city last sunday November 1st and it's written by jason Walker who wrote a book about US country singer Gram Parson and is a musician. This book is about Billy Thorpe the australian rocker who came on the music scene in the 1960's with his band the aztecs who would have many hit records including Poison Ivy,Over the Rainbow, Sick & Tired etc and concert attendeces rivalling those of the Beatles. By the late 60's moved to melbourne where he and the Aztecs reinvent themeselves into an hard rock group with a driving blues inspired sound playing outdoor concerts like Sunbury, Melbourne Myer Music Bowl etc. In the mid 70's moved to the USa where he recorded albums,wrote songs for TV shows, worked with toys and played with Mick Fleetwood(Fleetwood mac) in the Zoo. in the 90's returned to australia where he wrote 2 books and appeared in comebacks and tributes like the Long Way To the Top concerts and documentary. continue touring and

my week October 25th-31st

My week last week was really good which starts on Sunday as I went to church which john Lynch preached and i went to kedron-Wavell for the charity show "Rock'n'roll Spectacular" which they raise money for the royal children's hospital which ad people like tony worsley,Lucky Starr,Roland Storm,Dennis Knight,The Chevrolets, The Rockin Bodgies and others and also i had an great time. Went to work Monday-Friday which was very busy but it was good and during the week I met Del from 4f and tracey from S&N and Pam from Dr Petersen's office @ St Andrews Place finished up. Friday night went to see Aussie singer Normie Rowe @ Kedron-wavell which it was FANTASTIC, bought 2 CD's which he signed them and got an photo with normie. Last saturday october 31st went to Bulimba Cinema to see the movie AN Education and it's about an 16 year old young girl named Jenny(Carey Mulligan) in the early 1960's London who is working hard at an secondary school to ensure getting to OXford University and gets involved with an man twice her age name David(Peter Sarsgaard). She starts hang around with david's friends Helen(Rosamund Pike) and Danny (Dominic Cooper) and goes to jazz clubs & concerts and also go away on weekend trips. David and Jenny were set to get married and then discovers an secret about David. Normie rowe concert kedron-wavell october 30th 2009

Last friday went to see australian rock legend Normie ROwe @ Kedron-Wavell which it was my 10th time seeing him live and my first Normie concert was at hotel carindale on Friday June 8th 2001 with dennis Knight. The back-up band on friday were the Smokin Crawdads who are an Brisbane group have been around for a few years and play in the clubs around brisbane which they sang 6 songs-How Long,You Send Me,Help me make it through the night, in your eyes,delta dawn and You Don't Knows Me which they were really good. Normie rowe came and he put on an FANTASTIC show which an mixture of his famous hits, some of his album "Missing In Action" and other peoples songs and has an very good and funny sense of humour which he was on for more than an hour and a half. He had CD's on sale after the show and there was a form for people to join his mailing list on his website as well as FAcebook. rock'n'roll spectacular charity show Kedron-wavell

Last Sunday went to Kedron-wavell for an charity show called Rock'n'Roll Spectacular which is to raise money for the royal children's Hospital with children's cancer and this show has been going on for years now which have tribute performers as well as legendary ones. I first went to the show @ Kedron-Wavell on December 10th 2006 which was very good and among the performers were Tony WOrsley,Normie ROwe and Betty McQuade and i always look forward going to this every year which it's a very good cause. the performers this year were very good which there were some line up changes with Sharon ROundtree and an group group from Toowoomba called the Countdowns who have been around since 1965 and it started from 12.30pm-5.30pm. the comperes were Bernie Hutton(The Chevrolets) and Rex McNamara and in between acts there were raffles and auctions. I had an great time which i bought 3 CD's by Roland Storm and got autographs and photos with Dennis Knight,John McSweeney who di
