Taylor Dayne shoW @ Kedron Wavell October 28th 2011

On Friday October 28th I went to kedron Wavell Services Club to see Legendary American singer Taylor Dayne which i've known her music since the 90's and was so looking forward to see her live which it was my first time seeing her. the show started around 8pm with support act Andrew Lawson who had been on the X Factor starting which he did an excellent set doing mixture of covers and originals and he was just excellent which he was on for about half an hour and also he had cd's on sale at the first break. I met Andrew which i got an autograph and an photo and I spoke with an man who showed me an picture of him and Belinda Carlisle taken outside @ kedron Wavell back in february. Taylor Dayne came on around 9pm and was on for over an hour and an bit which she was just FANTASTIC singing great doing most of the famous hits that she made back in the 80's and 90's as well as having an very good sense of humor and also the 2 back up girl singers were just FANTASTIC too sing

On Friday night I went to the Mt gravatt Bowls Club to see the Legendary Australian singing group the Delltones and it's been more than an year and an half since I last saw them @ kedron Wavell Services Club on friday April 9th 2010. it's been 8 months since I was last @ Mt Gravatt Bowls CLub when I saw Australian country singer Sara Storer on thursday February 17th this year and there has been an change in the line up of the Delltones is that Danny Mayers who had been with them from 1981-85 and 1995-2011 has left the group to do his solo career. the show started @ 8.25pm with the four piece line of Woody,Owen, Merv and Pee Wee coming on stage which they did the unplugged set for the first set which they did stuff like I Wonder Why, Book Of Love, Why Do Fools Fall in Love etc and during the interval I bought the Delltones 1995 album "The Sunshine Club" which i had an talk with Carla about the latest projects for the group, Pee Wee's book and Wintersun. Little Pattie show @ Redlands Perfroming Arts Center october 15th 2011

on Saturday October 15th me and my Mum Cath went to the Redlands Performing Arts Center to see legendary Australian singer Little Pattie. it was my first time being at the Redlands Performing Arts Center but have heard about it and it's an great place with an very good atmopshere. It's my 6th time seeing Little Pattie live and 2nd time this year as I saw her @ the Southern Gold Coast Pure Gold Stage in Coolangatta during Cooly Rocks On on Sunday June 12th this year and it was the 2nd time me and Mum have seen Little Pattie live which the first was @ Twin Towns on Sunday June 12th 2005 with Col Joye during Wintersun 2005. Me and Mum caught the train from Cannon Hill at 12.40pm to Cleveland and walked to the RPAC where i had an coke to drink as well as going inside. Just 3 weeks ago the acoustic album the Acoustic Chapel Sessions by legendary Australian singer John Farnham was released. the recording of this album was recorded at chapel off Chapel in Melbourne in july and the songs on this album are his famous stuff from the 80's & 90's including Playing To Win, you're the Voice, Pressure Down, Chain Reaction, that's Freedom and others in an acoustic mode and there is an DVD which has 8 songs as well as interviews with john Farnham, Glenn Wheatley (manager), the musicians and road crew as well as behind the scenes footage. it's an EXCELLENT and VERY Good album with Farnham still in great voice as always and the songs are just BRILLIANT stripped down in the acoustic mode which sounds as great anyway as well as stunning. this album is produced by Ross Fraser, engineered and mixed by Doug Brady, Ern Rose did the OB Recording and Audio Assistant is Damien Maunders. On Saturday October 8th i went to the Morningside Services Club to see the Johnny Cash Tribute Show which was put together by lori Lee cash who runs rockabily shows around Brisbane. this show has been going since 2004 which had been in the valley and when i saw on the Internet that it was going to be @ the morningside Services Club i was so glad that it was going to be there as it's close to home for me anyway. the show started @ 8.30pm with Mean Eyed Cats with Dan Dualtones, Jon Flynn and Mark Stephens did 2 songs and would be the back up band for the performers of the night and for the first set Junior(the Jim Rockfords), Paddy and Theresa sang 3 or 4 Johnny cash songs which they were Excellent and there was an interval where I bought an juice to drink. in the 2nd set Paulie, CHUCKY and Michael performed an excellent set of Johnny cash which the interesting thing about Chucky's set was that he did'nt know some of the words of the songs which he an piece of paper wit

Whispering jack tribute show @ Carina Leagues Club

On Friday night September 30th I went to see the Whispering jack tribute show @ Carina leagues Club which it was my first time seeing it. i had heard about the show but had never seen it and I remember Sammy Clarke who works @ carina leagues Club telling me about bringing it there when i had my hair shaved for the Shave For A Cure on saturday march 12th this year. the show started with support act name Cliffy who actually performs @ carina Leagues Club did an set of clasic pop/rock hits which he was really good and there was an interval which i had an Apple and Blackcurrant juice to drink. then the Whispering Jack tribute started with Mike Vee who is from Tamworth came on stage which he did an FANTASTIC 2 sets of classic John Farnham songs from the 60's-2000's as well as one of his own songs and everyone was having an great time including myself which during the first set my cousin David sat next to me having an bottle of coke. the band was FANTASTIC including Cliffy on guitar
