Satan Is Real is the autobiography of legendary AMerican country singer as well as an member of the legendary American Country duo the Louvin Brothers Charlie Louvin. In this book he talked about his and his brother Ira's upbringing in Sands Mountain Alabama picking cotton, began singing gospel together as well as performing on radio, recording for MGM,Decca and Capitol where they would have recording success with hits like When I Stop Dreaming, Knoxville Girl, Cash on The Barrelhead, Don't Laugh and many others, working with people like Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Ken Nelson record producer, Ira's wild behavior including drinking and womanzing as well ira being married 4 times and nearly strangling his 3rd wife, Ira's tragic death in an car crash in 1965 and many others. I'm Still Standing show @ Carina Leagues Club

On Friday March 22nd I went to the Carina Leagues club to see the Elton JohN Tribute show I'm Still Standing with Greg Andrew and it was my second time seeing that show as I saw it the first time @ Carina Leagues CLub on Friday August 26th 2011. The show started @ 8.10pm and for the next 2 and an half hours Greg did 2 sets doing the classic Elton John hits from the 70's,80's and 90's which he sounded great and in the 2 sets wore different clothes which looked great as well as the glasses the Elton wears now as well as the hairstyle and also an great backing band. The show finished @ 10.40pm which after the show Greg came out to have photos with the fans including myself which he remembered me from the last time and it was an FANTASTIC show which everyone had an great time including myself as well as seeing my friends Maria,Wayne, Shane and Colin. Classic Albums- Please Please Me The Beatles

This week's Classic Album segment let's have a look at the debut album from 1963 by the Beatles called Please Please Me. The Beatles who began as the Quarrymen in 1957 in Liverpool which they changed to the Beatles in 1960 having played in Hamburg and Liverpool like the Cavern and had began recording with the first single that was Love Me Do that was released in October 1962 which went to 17 in the UK and their second single was Please Please Me which had been released in January 1963 that went to number 2 in the UK. The recording of the Please Please Me album was at the Abbey Road Studios on February 11th 1963 @ 10am which it was recorded in one day that lasted 9 hours and 45 minutes later and the album was released in the UK on March 22nd 1963 which it went to number 1 where it stayed there for 30 weeks. On Saturday March 16th I went to the Mt Gravatt Bowls to see the Fabulous Sounds of the 60's show which it was my 15th time seeing it as well as my 18th time seeing Darren J Ray. The show started after 8pm with Greg Newman from 4Bh doing the compering and for the next 2 and 40 hours did 2 FANTASTIC sets of great songs from the 60's with people like the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley, The Bee Gees, Roy Orbison, Monkees, Johnny O'Keefe, as well as the Love Bugs with Heidi,Kaitlyn, Riley and Sam doing the girl group stuff which sounded great as well as flower power,instrumental and surf music and in between songs in the first set there was an trivia which if you got song and artist right you win an vinyl record with Greg Newman and Sam doing the competition and I got an answer right about the Everly brothers which i Asked about the name of one of them which i said Phil and got an Everly Brothers vinyl and in the second set there was an dance competition which 3

Classic Albums- I'm Nearly Famous Cliff RIchard

This week's classic album segment I'm looking at the 1976 album called I'm Nearly Famous by legendary British singer Cliff Richard. Cliff had been going through an downward slump throughout the 70's after having the success that he had in 1950's and 60's and in 1975 did not have an record in the charts which it was the first year of his career not to have that. the album known as I'm Nearly Famous was recorded @ Abbey Road from September-December 1975 with ex Shadows member Bruce Welch as producer and it was him who set about finding new songs for Cliff. BrizVegas Kustom Karnival 2 @ Acacia Ridge Hotel

On Sunday March 10th I went to the BrizVegas Kustom Karnival 2 @ the Acacia Ridge Hotel and it was my 2nd time as I went there on Sunday November 4th last year. I caught two buses as I went from Cannon Hill to the city and then from the city to Acacia Ridge which I walked to the hotel. Rang home, had Beef and rice for lunch and the first band played on stage were the Lincolns from Adelaide which they were FANTASTIC and did an great set doing an mixture of originals and covers including 2 of the Cliff RIchard hits Move It and High Class Baby which i filmed those 2 songs. the next band came on stage were local band Men Into Space with Jon,Dan,Rupert and Coojee and they were FANTASTIC which they did too an great set which at the end of their set Sheri and Elisse came on stage doing the screaming noise and it sounded so great which I filmed the performance too. the next band on stage were Pat Capocci Combo from NSW which they were FANTASTIC and doing an great set as always which i have

the Avengers show @ Carina Leagues Club

On Saturday March 9th I went to the Carina Leagues Club to see Brisbane music group The Avengers which it was my 4th time this year as well as my 13th time seeing them live. The show started @ 7.30pm and for the next 4 hours they did 4 great sets of songs by the Beatles, Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Bill HAley, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Four Seasons, Roy Orbison, the Bee Gees, the Beach Boys, the Doobie Brothers and many others which it was great to see the group doing some different songs which it's great to see and during one of the interval Roger gave me an DVD of the Poll Winners Concert from 1965 which the best talent including the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Cilla Black, the Seekers and many others and it's great which I really appreciate it. the show finished @ 11.30pm and thanked the guys which i spoke with Roger and Graeme as we spoke about the Old Rockers Get Together, Whiskey Au Go Go fire, mentioning about the capitol showband and rufus getting back togethe

Last night I went to Kedron Wavell Services to see legendary Australian singer-songwriter Glenn Shorrock which it was my 7th time seeing him live as I first saw Glenn with the Twilights and Axiom @ the Long Way to the Top concert @ Brisbane Entertainment Center on Tuesday September 10th 2002, 2nd was on his own @ Kedron Wavell On THursday April 8th 2004 which I got an autograph and an photo with him, 3rd was with Beeb Birtles and Graham Goble @ TWin Towns on Saturday June 25th 2005, 4th was @ QPAC concert Hall with Wendy Matthews and Doug Parkinson on Thursday September 8th 2005, 5th was @ the Countdown concert with Birtles and Goble on Tuesday August 21st 2007 and 6th was at the Grease musical with Frankie J Holden,Wilbur Wilde and Michelle Pettigrove @ the Convention Center on Saturday August 16th 2008 which i went with my friend Matthew Stewart. Neil Young show @ Brisbane Entertainment Center

On Thursday March 7th I went to the Brisbane Entertainment Center to see legendary Canadian singer-songwriter Neil Young. I wasn't even planning to go or did'nt even bought an ticket but it was on Tuesday after 11am an lady named Shirley who works in the kitchen @ St Andrews rang me asking me if I would like to go to see Neil Young and i said yes which she came up to the hospital at 12.30pm as she is on leave at the moment and gave her the 50 dollars. On Thursday night I caught the train from Cannon Hill to Central and then went from Central to Boondall and walked to the Entertainment center. This album was recorded @ Ultratone Studio in Studio City, Funk Headquarters in New Orleans and Playback Studios in Santa Barbara which it was produced by Eric Burdon and Tony Braunagel as well as Marianne Burdon being the executive producer which she also did the photos and the original cover design and layout done by Christianna Proestou, It's am EXCELLENT and an BRILLIANT album with great singing by Eric who still sounds great at the age of 71 and still going strong and the songs are FANTASTIC which includes an version of Before You Accuse Me and Medicine Man an Marc Cohn song and the others are written by Eric including 27 Forever, River Is Rising, Bo Diddley Special and others.
