The Who Quadrophenia Live in London is on DVD and CD and it was recorded in London on July 8th 2013 at Wembley Stadium as it was their last date of their 2012-2013 world tour which they did USA, Canada, Ireland, UK, France and the Netherlands. On both the live CD and DVD the Who performed the entire Quadrphenia album as well as selected other hits which are on the bonus tracks of the DVD and the double CD as well as seeing clips on the stage which looked great as well as seeing clips of Keith Moon when they were doing Bell Boy and john Entwistle on 5.15. It is AWESOME ROCKIN and BRILLIANT with a great live feel and the Who just sounded so good with great singing by Roger Daltrey with great guitar playing by Pete Townshend. The director on the DVD is Chris Rule, Producer is Liz Kessler, Des Murphy is associate producer and the executive producers are Bill Curbishley (the Who's manager) and Robert Rosenberg. The Angels 40 Years Of Rock Volume 2 40 Greatest Live Hits is a 3 CD set by the legendary Australian rock group the Angels and on this it has live recordings done by the Angels over 40 years at St Leonard's Park in 1977, Elizabethan Theatre in 1978, La Trobe Uni in 1979, Melbourne Showgrounds in 1980,Thirsty Bar USA 1980, Sylvania Hotel in 1980 and 1981, Bombay Rock in 1983,Hordern Pavilion in 1983,Narana in 1983, Bankstown RSL in 1987, Beyond Salvation Live 1990 and the Bridge Hotel 2014 which they performed many of the classic Angels songs as well as the new songs as well as I Come In Peace which was written by Rick Brewster and Ross Wilson which Ross Wilson recorded it for his I Come In Peace album in 2010 as well as Joe Cocker doing a version of it as well. The Angels 40 Years Of ROck Volume 1 40 Greatest Hits is the latest greatest hits 3 CD set for the legendary Australian rock group which was released back in May and on this CD set it has the classic hits of the Angels as well as album tracks as well as the some of the lastest tracks from the recent albums Takin It to the Streets and Talk the Talk. It is AWESOME and ROCKIN with great songs holds up very well to this day as well as the recent tracks which sounded great too and also it rocks. The Angels with the Brewster Brothers and current lead singer Dave Gleeson are currently touring around Australia at the moment celebrating 40 years when they were formed and it also it was in the top 40 album charts recently which it is great to see. On Monday July 28th Australian rock n roll lost a true icon and an pioneer of the early days of rock with the sad passing of legendary singer Johnny Rebb known as the Gentleman Of Rock from a heart attack at age 75. He came on the scene 55 years with his group the Rebels which had besides from Johnny there were John Charters on Piano, Keith Williams on bass, Jimmy Sloggett, Sonny Neville on guitar and Johnny Burns on drums which they had their first hit with their version of the Rusty and Doug song Hey Sheriff number 15 in Sydney and number 23 in brisbane on the Leedon label but had already for EMI in 1958 with Johnny Be Goode (the Chuck Berry song) with the B side written by Johnny Rebb called Rebel Rock but did'nt do anything chart wise. On Saturday July 26th I went to Kedron Wavell to see legendary Australian 80's group the Eurogliders which has Grace Knight and Bernie Lynch and it was my second time seeing them as my first was at the Countdown Spectacular show @ Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Saturday September 16th 2006. I caught two buses from Carindale as I was visiting my cousin that afternoon as it was my second cousin's birthday and had Pizza for dinner there and when I arrived @ Kedron Wavell Dad rang as well as buying ticket to see Brian Cadd and also went inside which i did some writing.
