Don't You Leave Me Here is the autobiography of English Musician Wilko Johnson of the legendary English group Dr Feelgood. In this book he talks about his upbringing in Canvey Island, getting an guitar as an teenager, played in groups including the Flowerpots, studied @ Newcastle University, going to India, his marriage to Irene whom they had 2 sons which would last until her passing in 2004, teaching Shakespeare in Essex, forming the band Dr Feelgood which he would be with them until 1977, played with Ian Dury and the Blockheads, diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer which he was given 9 or 10 months to live but had an operation and many others. It is an excellent book with excellent stories told by Wilko and it's an enjoyable read. It's a miracle that Wilko Johnson is still alive and he is still going which he has just done an UK tour as well as having some European dates for next year. Delta Lady A Memoir is the autobiography of legendary American singer-songwriter Rita Coolidge. In this book she talks about her upbringing in Tennessee and Florida, went to Memphis where she sang around , got discovered by Bonnie and Delaney, moved to Los Angeles where she was an back up singer working with people like Joe Cocker, Eric Clapton, Leon Russell and others, her relationships with drummer Jim Gordon, Graham Nash and Stephen Stills, her marriage to Kris Kristofferson which they have a daughter which lasted from 1973-80, having great success in the 70's with hits like Your Love Keeps Lifting Me Higher and Higher and We're All Alone, the death of her sister Priscilla in 2004 and others. Good Vibrations My Life As A Beach Boy is the autobiography of Mike Love lead singer of the legendary American rock group the Beach Boys. In this book he talks about his upbringing in California, forming the Beach Boys in 1961, having successful hit records throughout the 60's which he co wrote many of them with his cousin Brian Wilson, behind the scenes happening of the group including drugs, betrayal and others, the deaths of his cousins Dennis Wilson and Carl Wilson, getting into Transcendental Meditation, his marriages and many others. On Saturday July 23rd I went to the QPAC Concert Hall to see the Go Show Gold which it's an tribute to the legendary Australian 60's pop TV Show the Go Show which was on Channel 10(Then 0) from August 1964-September 1967 and it was my second time seeing this concert as I went to see that @ Jupiters 2 years before on Saturday August 16th 2014. I caught the bus from Cannon Hill to South Bank, went to Nandos, had chicken and salad for dinner, had an Coke Zero to drink, saw Bev(ex QML) and her partner and walk to QPAC. Saw Maryanne Jamieson and her husband, use mobile, Saw Maggie, saw Ronnie Burns which I got a photo with him, saw Kevin, Di and Sandra, talked, bought program, met Robyn (my Facebook friend), saw Rosemary an volunteer, saw Mal Clark from the Blue Jays and Marie, went inside and wrote notes. The Show started @ 7.30pm with Johnny Young started off as he was doing the hosting as well as performing 2 of his hits and for the rest of the first set Tony Worsley, Ronnie B

Dean Vegas @ Coolangatta Tweed Golf Club June 12th 2016

On Sunday night June 12th I went to Coolangatta Tweed Golf Club to see Dean Vegas which it was my 5th time seeing him live and had not seen his show since Saturday February 9th 2013 @ Mt Gravatt Bowls Club. Dad took me to the club, signed in, went inside, drank Pepsi Max, met Dawn, use mobile, bought Dean Vegas CD and talked. The show started at about 8.30pm with Dean Vegas coming on stage wearing the Army uniform when Elis was in the Army as well as later in the set wearing the black leather when Elvis did the Comeback special and performed many of the classic Elvis songs in the first set which he would walk through the audience shaking hands as well as kissing the ladies and in that first set Dean's guitarist did Route 66 and also there was an interval where I saw the bloke from Melbourne as well as Geoff Skewes from the Vibrants and his wife Heather. The second set Dean the Vegas Period costume which he performed more of the classic Elvis songs and in that second set two young
