On Friday night June 10th I went to the Marquee @ Coolangatta for the 3rd and final time for Cooly Rocks On 2016 which had Issi Dye, Eddie Daniels and Christopher Knight which it was 9th time seeing Issi which I had not seen him live since September 21st 2014 @ Kedron Wavell, first time ever I saw Charlie Daniels and seen Chris a few times too. I walked to the Marquee, waited outside, went inside, saw steven and his wife an New Zealand couple I met 5 years ago, drank Coke Zero, bought Issi Dye DVD and Issi's tribute to Al Jolson CD and use mobile. The show started @ 7.30pm with Issi Dye first coming on Stage which he walked through the audience in the beginning of his set and would do it again during his set and performed classic rock n roll songs by Bobby Darin, The Everly Brothers, Johnny O'Keefe, Ricky Nelson and others which he did an FANTASTIC set and also after his set he came out to sign stuff which I got the DVD and CD signed as well as getting an photo with him and h

On Friday morning June 10th I went to Twin Towns to see an group called Elephant Rock which was the first time I've seen them. I arrived at Twin Towns @ about 10.40am after stopping at the Record Market where I had bought singles by Lionel Long, Johnny Rebb, Colleen Hewett, Sandy Scott, Rob EG, Connie Francis, Paul Wayne, Peter and Gordon, Sherbet, Johnny Farnham and the Easybeats and an Col Joye LP and for the next 3 hours they did 3 sets which they performed songs by Elvis Presley, The Beach Boys, Bill Haley, Roy Orbison, Chuck Berry, Jerry lee Lewis and others and saw my friend from the gigs Verrell and also during the last interval went to Flames which I had Spaghetti Bolognase for lunch. The show finished at 1.30pm which I went to Ten Pin Bowling @ Time Zone in Coolangatta, had a look at 2 shops, had a Coke Zero and walked back to Bella Mare. On Thursday June 9th I went to the Marquee in Coolangatta to see the tribute show Soul Men Tribute To The Blues Brothers show which it was my second time seeing that show as the first was at Wynnum RSL Club Saturday July 21st 2012 . I walked to the Marquee, took photos, went inside, use mobile, drank water and did writing. The show started at 8pm and for the next 2 hours the band did the classic soul songs as well as rock and country stuff which they did 2 sets as well as during the show an lady won for best dressed as well as during some of the sets that the sax player would go through the audience and most of the people dressed up which they looked great and also during the interval I drank Coke Zero. The Show finished @ 10.15pm, got a photo with one of the Blues Brothers performer, Brian the sax player who I knew when he was in Hi Way 1, thanked the lady singer and walked back to bella Mare which I rang Dad. It was an AWESOME show which everyone had an great time including myself,
