This 3 CD set has the recordings from the 60's up to 2013 with classics like Albatross, Black magic Woman, Oh Well, Rhiannon, Go Your Own Way, Don't Stop, Gypsy, Little Lies and many others as well as some live recordings as well as the recordings with bob Welch on them as well as their last single Sad Angel in 2013. It's BRILLIANT, FANTASTIC and SUPERB with AWESOME songs that has stood the test of time and it's great to have the recording from the Peter Green period as well as the Bob Welch period, the classic line up of Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie as well as Billy Burnette and Rick Vito and even Bekka Bramlett and Dave Mason on the Time album in 1995 combined on this 3 CD set. This CD has gone to number 8 in the UK and number 65 in the USA and Fleetwood Mac are currently touring America at the moment with founding members Mick Fleet

On Friday I went to the Balmoral Cinema to see the movie The Favourite. It's 1708 with Britain at War with France and Queen Anne (Olivia Colman) is on the throne who has an health problem with Gout and has little interest in governing as she prefers to do racing geese and playing with her rabbits. Sarah Churchill the Duchess of Marlborough(Rachel Weisz) is her secret lover as well as her adviser and confidant rules the country by the confidences she passes to the Queen which her control of the Queen are undermined by Prime minister Robert Hartley (Nicholas Hoult). Then Sarah's cousin Abigail Hill (Emma Stone) comes to the Palace to look for work which she starts work as a maid then after the Queen's condition she gets involved which she puts herbs on the Queen's legs and becomes Lady In Waiting as she also planning for herself to win the Queen's favour which leads to interesting happening. Last Friday night I went to the Balmoral cinema to see the movie Colette and it's based on an true story. It's the dawn of the 20th century and Sidonie Gabrielle Colette(Keira Knightley) is a young woman who is from the country village marries Willy (Dominic West) an charismatic and dominant Parisian. She falls into the bohemian lifestyle of Paris where her creative talents are triggered and is convinced by Willy to write novels which it should be released under his name as the author which it's named Claudine as it's achieved phenomenal success and Colette and Willy become the first couple among contemporary celebrities. But then as time goes by Colette is getting frustrated as her work is getting the lack of recognition and is getting into an relationship with Missy(Denise Gough) but her husband is opposed to this which he's determined to hold on to her no matter what the emotional costs are required. This is the autobiography of Richie Ramone drummer of the legendary American rock band the Ramones and in this book he talks about his upbringing in New Jersey, started getting into drums at an young age, played in bands The Exceptions, Tapestry, Windfall, Madison, WHiteboys and Remond, joined the Ramones in 1983 which he played with them until 1987 and played on classics like Smash You, Somebody Put Something In My Drink as well as being the only percussionist to sing lead in the group as well as touring the world and played on 3 studio albums and many others . This is the new compilation of legendary British singer Cilla Black combining her original recordings from the 60's and 70's with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra which was recorded in Liverpool and London and it has 3 duets with Cliff Richard on You're My World, Rebecca Ferguson on Anyone Who Had A Heart and Sheridan Smith who played Cilla in the TV movie a few years ago on Alfie as well as an unreleased track with Have I Told You Lately That I Love You. This is the new compilation CD by the legendary American singing duo The Carpenters which combining their original recording with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and it was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London with Richard Carpenter who was the producer with Nick Patrick on this CD also did the conducting and arranging. It's BRILLIANT, FANTATSIC and SUPERB with those songs combining with the orchestra sounds FANTATSIC which they have done it Superbly well and sounds so great which it's wonderful to listen to. This CD has gone to number 8 in the UK, number 13 in Scotland and has entered the Australian charts at 29. It's been 35 years since the sad passing of Karen Carpenter but the great music she and Richard made in the 70's and early 80's has stood the test of the time and still sounds great today. This is an must for The Carpenters fans which I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will love it.
