Digger Revell Brisbane Shows April 2017

In April legendary Australian singer Digger Revell known for hits like Building Castles In The Air, My Little Rocker's Turned Surfie, My Prayer, Twilight Time and others will be performing 2 shows in Brisbane first at Kedron Wavell on Tuesday April 18th for Treasure Day with Peter James at 11am and the second will be at Redcliffe RSL on Saturday April 29th @ 8pm and he will perform most of his hits from the 60's as well as rock n roll songs, country songs as well as an Al Jolson segment and many others and is still singing better than ever as he puts on an AWESOME show getting the crowds going which everyone enjoys themselves as he has recently performed some shows with Vicki O'Keefe which has done very well. Pink Tribute Show @ Easts Leagues Club

On Saturday March 4th I went to the East Leagues Club to see the Pink Tribute Show which has Megan Barnes doing the Pink songs and it was my second time seeing it as well as the 6th time seeing Megan live. Dad took me to Easts which we stopped at Dominoes at Morningside where I picked up pizzas, went to Café where I had Nachos for dinner as well as seeing my friend Matthew , went to another table where his sister Jeanette was there as well as meeting her friends, talked and drank Coke Zero. The show started at 7.30pm with Megan and the Zookeepers coming on stage as well as 2 dancing girls doing 2 sets doing the classic Pink Songs like Get The Party Started, Raise Your Glasses, Help Me, Fine True Love, Years From Now etc which Megan would change clothes as well as the dancing girls and in the first set the keyboard player did 2 songs Blame It On the Boogie and What About the Boy and also in the second set in the early Megan did other people's songs but went back into doing the ...

Redlands Rockabilly Revival Show @ Cleveland Showgrounds

On Sunday March 12th I went to the Redlands Rockabilly Revival show @ the Cleveland Showgrounds which it's my first time to that one as it started last year but I couldn't go to it. Dad took me to Carindale, bought a Coke Zero, walk to bus stop, drank Coke Zero, use mobile, caught 250 bus(9.50am) bus, got off at Cleveland and walk to the showgrounds. Rang home, took photos of the cars as well as the stalls and watch the last part of the Haymakers set. Had Sir Shank A Lot(Shanks, chips and salad) for lunch, drank Coke Zero and watch Little Billy's set which it was an AWESOME set with FANTASTIC singing by Tahnee as well as the musicianship of the other guys as well as going to the Merchandise Stand where local group A Band Called Twang were selling their new CD called Rootin Tootin which I got it signed as well as getting a photo with them. Oh What A Night @ Kedron Wavell February 25th 2017

On Saturday February 25th I went to Kedron Wavell to see the Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons Tribute Show called Oh What A Night which they are an group from Las Vegas with George, Paul, Josh and Rick and it was my first time seeing this show but I know of it as well as my first show at Kedron Wavell for 7 months which I was glad to go and see show there. Dad drove me to Cannon Hill, went to the bus stop, caught bus, got off at Chermside and Walk to Kedron Wavell. I Went to the Café, ordered Nachos and Sundae, bought Coke, rang home and use mobile. Had Beef Nachos for dinner, drank Coke, use mobile and Ate Chocolate Sundae which I had to wait for a while to get. Went to the Blue Pacific Room, write notes and use mobile. A Rock'n'Roll Odyssey To Whitesnake Snakes and Ladders My Autobiography is the autobiography of British guitarist Mick Moody. In this book he talks about getting his guitar at the age of 12, playing in bands the Titans, the Roadrunners(both including future Free member Paul Rodgers, Tramline, Wild Flowers, Lucas and the Mike Cotton Cound, Zoot Money, Juicy Lucy, Snafu, The Moody marsden Band, working with Bob Young in the Young and Moody Band, playing with David Coverdale, forming the band Whitesnake which he was with them until 1983, working with acts like Paul Jones(Manfred Mann), Gene Pitney, Joe Cocker, Billy J Kramer , working as a session musician and many others. It's an FANTASTIC book with great stories with fondness and humour as well as going through the musical journey between 1963 up to 1983 and I enjoyed reading it. Mick Moody performs with Ali Maas and Whitesnake still performs with David Coverdale and this book is a must for Whitesnake fans as well as fans...
