Darren J ray band @ Carina Leagues Club April 23rd 2011

Last Saturday April 23rd I went to see the Darren J Ray band @ Carina Leagues Club and it was FANTASTIC. It was my 13th time Seeing Darren J Ray which I am mainly used to see Fabulous sounds of the 60's show as well with the Love Bugs but it was kind the first time i have seen just the band and they were just GREAT anyway which the line-up on the night were Heidi, Darren J Ray, Scotty MacFarlane and Brent who was playing with the band for the first time. The songs they did in this show comparison to the 60's show were stuff from 50's,60's,70's 80''s and it sounded great. Heidi in one set wore an cowboy hat and in another wearing an wig when she was giving chocolate eggs and she sang great too. I met Scotty's mum,dad and fiance and they're really nice people and the show finished at 11.30pm which was an FANTASTIC night despite an little problem concerning 2 people fighting. On Good Friday April 22nd I went to the South bank Cinema to see the movie "Rio". Kustomer Kroozers Reunion

Just last Saturday April 16th I went to the ROcklea showgrounds for the KUstomer Kroozers Reunion which had rockabilly groups from Brisbane in the 80's and it was an FANTASTIC. I had been doing Ten Pin Bowling in the morning and had to get home to go get ready to Rocklea which I had chicken niblets and pasta salad for lunch, got changed and dad took me to the bus stop. I caught the bus to South Bank, caught a train to ROcklea and I arrived to see the Reno Brothers halfway as I did'nt get there until about 2.30pm. Throughout the afternoon and early evening saw a lot of great bands the Wildcards,the Shakin Quavers, the Convertibles and the Slingshots which they were all GREAT and FANTASTIC and also really rocked the place away. there was a lot of great cars on display and stalls as well and saw my friends Karen,Paulie,Laura, bettie Butcher, Kat,Les,Jodie, karie,Vicki,Rhea,Ramona,Sheri,Walter, Michael, Lori Lee and met an girl named Casey and also saw Greg an guy I went to a gro

Last Saturday night I went to see Fabulous Sounds of the 60's show with Darren J Ray and the Love Bugs @ Kedron Wavell which it was my 12th time in 5 years seeing and it was FANTASTIC which they put on an FANTASTIC show as always. The show started @ 8pm with Greg Newman 4BH radio personality compering the show as it started with A World Of Our Own sang by Kaitlyn and then did an mixture of Beatles,Stones, Psychedelia and others which they had an trivia to name the song and if you got the answer you get an record which I got an Marianne Faithful album when I got the answer of King of the road by Roger Miller. there was an interval which I saw my friend Michael and the 2nd half had an mixture of surf music, girl group stuff, bit of Elvis, bit of Johnny O'Keeffe as well as a dance competition and finished off with Hey Jude which the Love Bugs girls wore Beatles shirts when they came on stage throughout the song and the line-up of the Love Bugs were Kaitlyn, Heidi,Nicole and Gen

On march 12th I did the shave for a cure for the 3rd time which it's to raise money for leukemia and I did it at the carina Leagues Club. My Mum came with me and one of the workers named Sammy Clarke cut my hair which she did an excellent job doing it. I raised about $2,200 which most of it came from my work friends,ten pin bowling friends, my Mum and others and I truly appreciate the support which I would have not done it without the support. I enjoy doing the shave for a cure and I enjoy doing this for a very good good cause . I aimed to raise $ 2,000 which I am glad that i got that goal and had nearly $500 more than I did last year. i look forward to it again next year as I will aim for $2,500

Last Saturday night I went to the QPAC Concert hall to see the show "CLass of 59" show which was put together by Australian rock legend Lonnie Lee. It's celebrating an time in history when Rock'n'roll was starting as well as a decade that created legends and influenced an culture as well as the songs that still endures as well as the hits and the flair is not forgotten and also going down memory lane with Elvis,Buddy, Jerry Lee, Chuck, Bill, the Everly brothers and the Fonz.
