Class of 59 show @ QPAC Concert hall April 2nd

Last Saturday night I went to the QPAC Concert hall to see the show "CLass of 59" show which was put together by Australian rock legend Lonnie Lee. It's celebrating an time in history when Rock'n'roll was starting as well as a decade that created legends and influenced an culture as well as the songs that still endures as well as the hits and the flair is not forgotten and also going down memory lane with Elvis,Buddy, Jerry Lee, Chuck, Bill, the Everly brothers and the Fonz. Lonnie Lee opened the first half of the show doing his famous hits, some recent songs and other people's songs that influenced him including Elvis Presley and Johnny Ray which he was on for about 45 minutes and there was an interval which i bought an CD by Scott Cameron(Buddy Holly) as well as before the show started Lonnie Lee's Cd volume 4 which has recording ofr HMV & sunshine labels from 1964-70. the second half had the Class Of 59 band with Scott Cameron(Buddy Holly), Leon Isackson(The Fonz), Cassidy Wilson(Jerry lee Lewis), Brian Dean and Alan Freeman(the Everly brothers), Eric Rassmussen(Chuck Berry), Anthony Petrucci(Elvis presley)and james nation Ingle(bill haley) which they did 3 of their famous songs each and Leon doing Happy Days and Lonnie Lee come out on stage for the last few songs including His 1960 hit "Starlight Starbright" and Shout which the second set last for over an hour and a bit and altogether it was ROCKIN & FANTASTIC. After the show there was an Meet and Greet where all the performers came out to sign stuff which i got mine and got photos with Scott and Lonnie whom it was my 8th time seeing him which he is great live doing those timeless hits. I saw at the show terry from lifestream, Mrs Wallace and Mr hall from Mt Gravatt high School and an lady named Judy who used to work @ PEC front desk @ St Andrews. I Hope the show comes back next year as Lonnie Lee said he's planning to do that anyway and to those who missed out go and see it when it comes back next year as it's an GREAT rock'n'roll show and the music that still endures.
