This is from the Telegraph July 23rd 1959 and until 1990 when it became B105 4BK was one of Brisbane's popular radio stations at the time in the late 50's having started in 1930 which among their disc jockeys was Malcolm Searle who would become successful on TV with the 300 pound Question on Channel 7 from 1960-63 as well as working on 3AK was on Monday to Friday at 5pm with Five O'Clock Date, Tuesday with The Uncle Toby Show at 12.40pm, Friday morning at 8.30am with Edgell's Housewives Hit Parade, Saturday morning at 9.30am with Tristram's Young Queenslanders Club and Sunday from 9.15am until 2pm with Disc Jockey Parade.
