4BK July 1960

This is from the Courier Mail July 6th 1960 and until 1990 when it became B105 4BK was one of Brisbane's popular radio stations at the time in the early 60's which among their disc jockeys were Bill O'Brien who had done a stint on 4KQ was on from 4.15pm until 5pm doing the National Top Fourty with the Big Sound and Peter McIntyre was on from 7.30pm until 8pm doing Club Celebrity which had people like the Kingston Trio, Jerry Vale and Dodie Stevens.

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Hermans Hermits Australian Tour 2025
