4BC July 1967

This is from the Telegraph July 17th 1967 and now the talk back station as it is the only commercial one here in Brisbane 4BC was one of Brisbane's top radio stations at the time in the 60's which among their disc jockeys was Johnny James who had been with the station since the 1950's which he would be with 4BC until the early 70's was on from 5.30am until 9am doing the Breakfast Show.

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Hermans Hermits Australian Tour 2025

In August and September 2025 legendary British rock group Hermans Hermits are touring Australia which they will be performing in Queensland, NSW, ACT, Western Australia and Victoria and the group with original member and drummer Barry Whitwam, Jamie Thurston on bass guitar and vocals, John Summerton on guitar and vocals and Tony Young on Keyboards and vocals will perform many of their classic hits from the 60's including I'm Into Something Good, Mrs Brown You've Got A Lovely Daughter, No Milk Today, There's A Kind Of Hush, My Sentimental Friend and many others.
