James Blundell at Wynnum Fringe

Yesterday afternoon I went to the Wynnum Fringe to see the legendary Australian country singer James Blundell which it was my first time seeing him live ever. Caught the bus from Cannon Hill to Wynnum, Had Pizza Sub and Salad Roll for lunch from Subway, had a look at Op Shop, walk to the Wynnum Fringe, went inside the Augathella Spiegeltent and waited. The show started at 3pm with James coming out with his son Briar on guitar and for the next hour and 5 minutes performed songs from the latest album as well as his 2 90's hits This Road and Way Out West as well as doing songs by Neil Young, Slim Dusty and Pink Floyd as well as telling stories including his son playing him songs that he knew including Richard Clapton as well as Slim Dusty story and hearing Bruce Springsteen as well as Brair sang lead on a few songs too as well as playing great guitar. The show finished at 4.05pm, went outside, James came out, got photos with him, caught bus back to Cannon Hill, caught bus to Carina where I had dinner and came home. It was a FANTASTIC show which everyone had a great time including myself and James sang and played great as well as very entertaining giving the audience a great time and I look forward to see James live again in the future if you would like to see James please do yourselves a favour and SEE HIM which you will be impressed and amazed. Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney.
