Alan Fletcher at the Junk Bar

This afternoon I went to the Junk Bar in New Farm which was my first time going there to see Alan Fletcher who played Dr Karl Kennedy on the iconic Australian soap Neighbours from 1994-2025 which it was my 1st time seeing him live and it was my 4th time seeing an actor from Neighbours live. The show started with Alan, his wife Jennifer Hansen who was an Melbourne newsreader on keyboards and Riley Catherall on guitar and he did 2 sets which were mainly original songs that he wrote as well as one he wrote with Jackie Woodburne who played his wife Susan on Neighbours as well as Jennifer sang lead in the 1st set doing Party Girl as well as an duet with Alan as well as Alan telling some stories including mentioning Neighbours and finished off the 1st set with the Slim Dusty song The Biggest Disappointment and there was a interval where I had a Coke with No Sugar. In the Second Set Alan performed more of the original songs including Ain't Done Yet as well as Jennifer sang one song as well as an duet on a song about marriage and Riley sang an song in the 2nd set which was about his grandmother as well as Alan did an John Prine song before the end of the 2nd set which he finished off with I Got A Crush on Susie K and Back To School. The show finished @ 4.21pm, met Alan, bought 3 CD's which I thanked Alan for the show as well as saying that he was great on Neighbours and did a great job on it as well as saying about Cop Shop which I asked about Alwyn Kurts and Terry Norris which he said Terry was a funny man, got a photo wih Alan, walk to the bus stop, caught bus to the city, stop at Coles where I bought Coke with No Sugar and health bar, caught bus to Carindale, pick up Pizza at Dominos and Came. It was an FANTASTIC show with Alan sounding great and playing great as well as very entertaining giving the audiences a great time with help from Jennifer as well as Riley who played great guitar as well as great singing and it's great to see that there's more to Alan than just a actor which he has been performing music for years as well as doing Neighbours and also I enjoyed his show which I am glad that I got to see him live which I Hope he comes back to Brisbane again soon.
