Johnny O'Keefe A Celebration was released on DVD back in August through Umbrella Entertainment and it has clips from Bandstand and the Don Lane show as well as interviews with his daughter Vicky, his first wife Marianne as well as close friend Bruce Powell on the Midday Show with Kerri Anne Kennerley and an performance from Sunbury 73. It is AWESOME,BRILLIANT and SUPERB with great clips and it is just great to see them. It is 37 since Johnny O'Keefe passed away but has left an great impact on Australian music and his work still endures. This is a must for Johnny O'Keefe fans and I give this 5 stars which it's still in the shops so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT.

Catfish and the Dee Jays with drummer Catfish Purser who played with Australian rocker Johnny O'Keefe back in the 50's and 60's will be performing @ Kurrawa Surf Club on New Years Eve which the show will start from 8.30pm and they performed classic rock n roll as well as some country stuff which I'm sure you will enjoy it so do yourselves a favour and see them which they are FANTASTIC live and everyone has a great time.

Among other highlights I went back to Ten Pin Bowling after 15 months off due to my foot which I am glad to be back, meeting relations for the first time like Nick Hughes great grandson of Pauline Hagenbach and Daniel Ramsey as well as Kevin Wills son of my Nana's cousin Leslie Thomas Wills as well as 2 of my 5th cousins Noelene and Annette whose grandmother was my Nana's other cousin Violet and getting photos of past relations including my great great grandmother Margaret Wallace(Hagenbach), my Nana's aunty Maud, Nana's cousins, My grandfather's cousins and Aunty's and Uncles which it's wonderful to see what they looked like. I Hope 2016 will be a good year for everyone.
