Lucky Man is the autobiography of the late British musician as well as founding member of both King Crimson and Emerson Lake and Palmer Greg Lake who passed away on December 7th last year from cancer. In this book he talks about his upbringing in Poole England, getting his first guitar at age 12, wrote his first song, getting guitar lessons from Don Strike, played in bands Unit 4, Timechecks, Shy Limb, The Shame and the Gods, formed King Crimson with Robert Fripp in 1968 which they released 2 albums and toured America, formed Emerson Lake and Palmer in 1970 with Keith Emerson and Carl Palmer which they achieved great success with successful albums like the self titled album, Tarkus, Pictures at an Exhibition, Works Vol 1 and 2 etc and it lasted until 1978, working with Ringo Starr, Cozy Powell and many others. This is the new compilation CD of Australian musician, singer and record producer Robie Porter(Rob EG)and it has his classic instrumental hits like 55 Days At Peking, Si Senor, Soul, 54321 Zero as well as his vocal recordings like When You're Not Near, Gemini etc. It's an FANTASTIC and an BRILLIANT CD with great songs which has stood the test of time and still sounds great today as it did back then. Robie Porter(Rob EG) has done an lot for Australian music being an singer, songwriter, record producer and record label and is back performing live all around Australia as he's being living in Australia in the last few years as well as recently getting the Order of Australia medal. Infinite Tuesday Autobiographical Riffs the Music is the new compilation CD by Monkees member Michael Nesmith and it has 3 Monkees recordings including the first version of the Girl I Knew Somewhere with Mike on lead before Mickey Dolenz did it on the single version, his first recording the name Michael Blessing,2 songs with the First National Band and the rest of his solo songs including the hit single Rio and his version of Different Drum which the Stone Poneys featuring Linda Ronstadt had a hit with it in 1967. it's an excellent CD with FANTASTIC songs which holds up very well to this day and Mike has wrote his memoir also called Infinite Tuesday as well as playing his last show with the Monkees in September last year as well as playing on the group's album Good Times.
