charlie and boots
Hi there,
2 weeks ago i went to see the Australian comedy movie Charlie & Boots @ South bank Cinema and it's very good, very Funny and very Australian. It's about an man called Charlie(Paul hogan) who lost his wife Grace and taken by his son Boots(Shane jacobsen) to fulfil an lifelong ambition is to go fishing off the top of Australia's northern tip cape york driving from the family's home in Victoria. along the way these 2 guys meet up with interesting people including an future young country singer named Jess (Morgan griffin), an bowls lady(val lehman), an butch female truckie(anne Phelan), an strawberry lady (diane Smith), Roly(roy billing) and many others. it's an very good film directed by Dean Murphy which he was one of the writers also and great acting by both paul Hogan and Shane Jacobsen who play these roles very well and they are so very funny in this film and along with the cameos by actors including val lehman(ex prisoner), Anne Phelan(ex prisoner, neighbours & Colin Carpenter), Beverly dunn(ex prisoner), diane smith(ex A Country Practice) and the late reg evans who died in the victorian bushfires. this is well worth seeing and it's another best Australian movie so far this year. i give this 5 stars
