the Turtles DVD Happy Together
Hi There,
Just last Saturday I bought this DVD which it's about the US pop 60's group The Turtles which this was made in 1990 and i actually enjoyed it very much which it's very good, very funny and and wonderful about the group who began as the Crossfires an surf group in the early 60's. There is a great film clips from shindig, smothers brothers, Where the Action Is and others and the interviews are so impressive, honest and funny with the turtles members Howard Kaylan,MArk Volman, chuck portz, the late don murray, jim tucker, john barbata, jim pons, Ray Manazrek(The Doors), manager Bill Uttley, Alan Gordon and Gary Bonner who wrote Happy Together, Graham Nash(the Hollies/crosby stills and nash), Stephen Stills(Buffalo Springfield/Crosby Stills and Nash), PF Sloan songwriter, Henry Diltz rock photographer and many others. There's a footage of the turtles when they were called the crossfires and love the stories about meeting the Beatles and Bob Dylan. This is a must for an fan of the 60's music and well worth watching about an legendary group that are still going today with Howard and MArk. I give this DVD 5 stars and its in the shops now
