Lance Lipinsky and Bobby Brooks Wilson @ Twin Towns

On Sunday night June 8th I went to Twin Towns Breezes Lounge to see the American singers Lance Lipinsky and Bobby Brooks Wilson which it was promoted by Matman Promotions as it was my 7th time seeing Lance and my 4th time seeing Bobby and until that night I had not seen them live since Friday June 12th 2010 @ Coolangatta Tweed Golf Club. the show started @ 7. 30pm with the back up band Sidekicks did an set of songs which included the Beatles & Creedence Clearwater Revival and then Lance Lipinsky came on stage which he did an AWESOME set doing Jerry Lee Lewis songs as well as one of his own songs which he did the movements as well as standing on the piano and even played guitar on one song which was great to see. Digger Revell @ Greenmount Surf Club

On Sunday June 8th I went to the Greenmount Surf Club to see legendary Australian singer Digger Revell which it was my 10th time seeing him live and had not seen him live since Sunday November 6th 2011 @ Kedron Wavell Services Club as part of the Rock n Roll Spectacular Show. I arrived at the club around 11.30am, had chicken pamerigina, chips and salad for lunch, drank coke zero and spoke with people on the table i was sitting. The show started after 12pm with the back up band doing a set which consisted of classic rock songs including I heard It Through The Grapevine, Moondance, Chains, great Balls Of Fire, Rock Around the Clock etc, there was an interval which I spoke with Chris Thomas who manages Digger Revell whom I had known him through email and bought Digger's CD which I had a look at it. the Delltones @ Twin Towns

On Saturday night June 7th I went to see the Delltones @ Twin Towns which it was my 10th time seeing them live as well as it was 20 years ago when I first saw them live and also until that show I had not seen them since Friday July 6th 2012 @ Kedron Wavell. I walked to Twin Towns which we had been to dinner @ the Coolangatta Tweed Golf CLub with Mum, Dad and heath, bought the CD the Big Four O where I saw Carla and Merv, went inside and had a look at the Cd and the book that Pee Wee wrote last year. The Delltones came on stage at about 8.30pm which for the next 2 hours the Delltones did 2 sets as the first set was the unplugged one which they did the songs that influenced the group as well as songs that in the charts in the 50's and 60's which made of variety of different styles by people like Elvis, The Platters, The Diamonds and in the second set did songs that they recorded over the years as well as well as 5 of their hits from the 50's and 60's which they did...

Issi Dye @ the Beach House Stage

On Saturday afternoon June 7th I went to the Beach House to see Issi Dye which it was my 7th time seeing him live. The show started @ 3.15pm with the Peter Brown Band did 2 songs That's Rock N Roll and The Wanderer and then Issi Dye came on stage wearing red suit and pants and green shirt which he performed classic rock n roll songs as well as walking through the audience as well as seeing me in the audience as well as someone requesting Issi to do the Beatles but Issi could not do it and also everyone was dancing as well as enjoying themselves. there was a interval which I bought 2 CD's which Issi signed them and I got a photo with him and I could not stay for the 2nd set as I had to go back to Bella Mare as I was going out to dinner @ the Coolangatta Tweed Golf Club with Mum,Dad and Heath. It was a FANTASTIC show and Issi always an puts on FANTASTIC show doing great songs as well as the Peter Brown Band were FANTASTIC too and to those who have not seen Issi go and see him...

the Hi Boys @ the Grifftih Street Stage

On Saturday afternoon June 7th I went to see the Hi Boys @ the Griffith Street Stage in Coolangatta which it was my 3rd time seeing them live. The show had started @ 1.15pm but I was having my lunch @ Subway which I had a Chicken Parmigiana and Salad Roll for lunch and i eventually watch their performance which they did the one set doing their own originals as well as some covers as well as their selling CD's as well as people were dancing and enjoying themselves as well as Lori Lee was in the audience selling tickets for Greazefest that is coming up here from August 1st-3rd and Melbourne is having it on August 9th and 10th. the show finished after 2.30pm and i went over to the Beach House Stage where I saw the presentation as well as Issi Dye. The show was FANTASTIC which I had a great time and the band were FANTASTIC which they played great and sounded great too.

Little Stevie and the Tail Fins @ the Kirra Beach Stage

On Saturday morning June 7th I went to the kirra beach stage to see an group called Little Stevie and the Tail Fins who are a group from Brisbane and play around the clubs around Brisbane. I know Little Stevie(Stephen) as he worked with my mum and sister @ Australia Post in the city and I had seen him performed with Brandi and the Badcats twice @ Carina Leagues CLub on Saturday November 10th and 24th 2012. The show started @ 11am which they just one set and were on stage for nearly 2 hours which they performed the classic rock n roll songs by people like Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, Ricky Nelson, Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran and others and Stephen, Darryl and Geoff sang lead each which was great as well as them wearing sunglasses on stage and also people were dancing and having a great time. the show finished before 1 pm, saw Stephen which I got a card and an pen and walk back to Coolangatta. 50 Years Of the Beatles @ Seagulls

On Friday night June 6th I went to the Seagulls Leagues Club with Mum to see the Mighty Guys, Kiwi rocker Johnny Devlin and the Beatles tribute group from Brisbane called the Beatlegs which it was my 4th time seeing Johnny Devlin and my 4th seeing the Beatlegs as well as the first time in 5 years since Saturday June 6th 2009 that I went to a show @ Seagulls which was the Elvis Evolution with Mark Anthony and Scotty Baker with both Lonnie Lee and Digger Revell being the support acts which Mum went with me to that show. Dad dropped me and Mum off @ Seagulls , drank Coke, use mobile, went inside and waited. The show started @ 8pm with Graeme Webb doing the Compering and the first act on stage were the Mighty Guys with the line up of Mike Lawler, Phil Eizenberg, Terry Gascoigne and Sue Reid on keyboards which they did a great set doing classic rock n roll songs then Johnny Devlin came on stage which he did a FANTASTIC set doing classic rock n roll songs as well as 2 of his classic hits t...

On Friday afternoon June 6th I went to the Coolangatta Hotel to see Australian singer Ian B macLeod with the Rockabilly Express and it was my 6th time seeing Ian as the last time I saw him was @ Kedron Wavell on Sunday October 13th last year. The show started @ 1pm and for the next 4 hours Ian and the Rockabilly Express did 4 sets of classic rock n roll stuff from people like Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Carl Perkins, Gene Vincent, The Everly brothers, Eddie Cochran and others and in the first set the band performed then Ian B come on stage for most of the remaining sets which wore the Sun Records T shirt that look great and playing the Gretch guitar as well as people dancing on the floor enjoying themselves. The show finished @ 5pm and I walked back to Bella Mare as I had to get ready to go and see Johnny Devlin @ Seagulls. Sun Rising @ the Marquee

On Thursday June 5th I went to the Marquee in Coolangatta to see the tribute show Sun Rising which it's a tribute to the legendary American record label Sun Records that was where people like Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison, Carl Perkins had started their recording careers and this group are from Melbourne which I actually had not heard of them until I saw it on the Cooly Rocks On Page and saw their website. The show started @ 8pm with Sun Rising coming on stage which they did 2 sets and they did the Sun songs that were recorded were famous by people like Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison and others as well as the stories about the songs as well as about how the artists joined up with Sun and during the interval I bought a CD and the program as well as saw Ron Kitchin who I have known since 2005 whom I had not seen since 2010 and also there on the sides of the stage there was photos of the acts who recorded for Sun as well as a picture of ...
