The Angels by John and Rick Brewster with Bob Yates
This is the book that was released last year and this is about the legendary Australian rock group the Angels told by founding members John and Rick Brewster along with Bob Yates. In this book they talk about the beginnings in Adelaide when they started as the Moonshine Jug and string Band with Doc Neeson and later on the Keystone Angels, working with Ike and Tina Turner, Chuck berry and Cheech and Chong as well as AC/DC , signed up with Alberts where they would have success with songs like Take A Long Line, Shadow Boxer with the line up of the Brewster Brothers, Doc Neeson, Graeme "Buzz" Bidstrup and Chris Bailey which would last until 1981, going to CBS where they achieved some more success, the line up changes throughout the 80's, going to America and Europe, the legal battles throughout the 2000's, the reunion of the classic line up in 2008-2010, the passings of Chris Bailey and Doc Neeson and many others. It's an AWESOME, BRILLIANT and an SUPERB book with AWESOME stories and I enjoyed the book very much. The Angels are still touring AUstralia at the moment which they are doing the 40th anniversary tour of the Face To Face album with current lead singer and Screaming Jets singer Dave Gleeson, John Brewster's son Sam and on drums Nick Norton. This is an must for Australian rock fans as well as Angels fans and I give it 5 stars which it's still in the shops so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT.
