Eternal Flame by Jennifer Otter Bickerdike

This is the authorised biography of the legendary American female rock band The Bangles written by Jennifer Otter Bickerdike and in the book the members Susanna Hoffs and sisters Vicki and Debbie Peterson as well as other people who knew and work with them talking about their upbringings in California, playing in different bands, forming the band the Bangs in 1981 before eventually settling to the Bangles, the music scene in LA in the 80's, achieving success with hits including Manic Monday, Walk Like A Egyptian, Hazy Shade of Winter and Eternal Flame, issues behind the scenes, encounters with the English Beat, Prince, Little Richard, The Greatful Dead, Duran Durana nd many others. It is AWESOME, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT stories as well as very impressive and very entertaining which it well worth an read. Jennifer Otter Bickerdike is an rock'n'roll cultural historian and author who was has written books on music including Being Britney and Why Vinyl Matters and the Bangles members (3 of them) were involved with the project but Michael Steele declined to be in it as well as they reunited in 1998 but have not performed since 2019 so let's hope one day we'll see them back on the road and also should be considered for an Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame for the impact they have made on rock music as well as being trailblazers which they should get acknowledged. This is an must for fans of the Bangles as well as fans of 80's music which I give it 5 stars and it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
