Thanks A Lot Mr Kibblewhite by Roger Daltrey
This is the autobiography of singer and founding member of the legendary British rock band the Who Roger Daltrey and in this book he talks about his upbringing in London, made his first guitar, played in the Detours who would eventually become the Who, achieving great success with rock classics like My Generation, Pinball Wizard, Won't Get Fooled Again, touring the world including Australia and NZ in 1968, performing at the Monterey, Woodstock and the Isle Of Wight, his 2 marriages, the deaths of Keith Moon and John Entwhistle, his recent health scare, his solo work and many others. It's an AWESOME,BRILLIANT & SUPERB book with AWESOME stories told by Roger which I thoroughly enjoyed it. Roger is still performing and recording which he released his solo album back in June with As Long As I Have You as well as doing some US solo shows and the Who are still going with Roger and Pete. It's an incredible journey from being born during the Second World War, the period of the 50's, starting of an new music known as rock and roll as well as the swinging London of the 60's to where he is now and the reader will understand about someone who lived in those times of changes. It's an must for the Who fans which I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which I'm you'll be impressed indeed.
