Glen Campbell Sings For The King

This is the new CD by legendary American country singer Glen Campbell and it has 18 Elvis Presley songs that Glen recorded between 1964-68 which at that stage Glen was an well known session guitarist and had released some singles but were not big hits. These songs were written by Ben Wiseman and Sid Wayne were Elvis eventually recorded them and Glen's recordings were found by producer Stephen Auerbach on reel to reel tapes and of those songs through technology that Elvis and Glen sing together on We Call On Him produced by country musician Carl Jackson. It's an FANTASTIC CD with great singing by Glen doing those songs which he sounded great on them and it's amazing that it's taken over 50 years for those tapes to be heard but it's out now so it's wonderful that we the fans can hear it and hear the way Glen sings them which it's just brilliant too. It's in the UK charts at number 84 and Alan Light did the liner notes. It's been an year since Glen Campbell passed away but the great music he made lives on and great to see things that were never released now out there which it's great to keep legacy alive. This CD is an must for Glen Campbell fans and I give this 4 stars as it's out in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed.
