At Play Mental As Anything

This is the new live album by legendary Australian pop rock band Mental As Anything and it was recorded October 2018 at Surfersaurus in Sydney. On this live CD they perform many of their classic hits from the 70's, 80's and 90's as well as other people's songs as well as an song written by Greedy Smith and Martin Cilia. It's AWESOME, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with great songs that has stood the test of time and the sound is great to listen to. The band are touring all around Australia with original founding member Greedy Smith as Martin Plaza is having health issues but is still with the group and to those in Queensland they will be at Redcliffe Leagues Tomorrow night and By the Big C @ Coolangatta Saturday. It's 40 years this year when the Mentals released their first hit the Nips Are getting Bigger and are still going strong. This is an must for Mental As Anything fans and i give this 5 stars which it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT.

This is the autobiography of British singer and founding member of the British vocal group Take That. In this book talks about his starting performing at an young age, success with Take That and his solo work, his weight problem, the losses of his father and daughter, doing X Factor and many others. It's an FANTASTIC and Brilliant book with Fantastic stories as well as very entertaining and open and honest about his issues and it's an great great read indeed. Gary is still working at the moment and did an tour of the UK last year. This is an must for Take That fans which I give it 4 stars and it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will enjoy it.

On Monday I went to the South Bank Cinema to see the movie Instant Family. Pete (Mark Wahlberg) and Ellie Wagner( Rose Byrne) an married couple started to consider adopting an child after being taunted by relatives thinking that they would never have children and enrolled to an foster parents course which 2 social workers Karen(Octiva Spencer) and Sharon (Tig Notaro) guiding the hopeful parents on the steps getting into becoming adoptive parents. They go to an fair to choose what kid they could have which they meet Lizzy (Isabela Moner) whose mother is in jail with drugs and they also have her 2 younger siblings Lita(Julianna Gamiz) and Juan (Gustavo Quiroz) and which it's pleasant and then gets interesting. It's FANTASTIC, touch, Very Funny and Very entertaining with top, Fabulous and FANTASTIC acting by Mark Wahlberg who also produced it, Rose Byrne, Octiva Spencer, Tig Notaro, Julianna Gamiz, Isabela Moner, Gustavo Quiroz, Margo Martindale who plays Pete's mother Sandy...

I went to the Balmoral Cinema on Friday to see the movie The Mule. Earl Stone(Clint Eastwood) an 90 yer old Korean war veteran and horticulturist who is going through financial ruin and has been estranged from his family. He is desperate for money which he gets involved with drug cartel which he becomes the mule and transport cocaine through Illinois and he gets paid for it which he pays for his granddaughter's wedding and education. Colin Bates(Bradley Cooper) joins the Drug Enforcement Administration to help to narrow the deliveries and there is tension in the cartel when the boss Lartle(Andy Garcia) is shot by an hungry power lieutenant who also demands that Earl is to be under tight control and it gets interesting. On New Years Eve I went to the Carina Leagues Club where I saw the Rolling Stones Experience an tribute band which I have seen them about 4 times and it was my first time at Carina Leagues Club since New Years Eve 2017 where I saw the Beatlegs. Dad took me to the club, Ordered Prawn Spaghetti and Pizza Garlic Bread, bought an coke and saw My cousin David. Had Pizza Garlic Bread and Prawn Spaghetti for dinner, drank coke, ate mint chocolate slice, talked, write notes and waited. The Show started @ 8.30pm which they did 3 sets doing the classic Rolling Stones songs from the 60's until to now with John Van Zyl dressing up in different sets as the fireworks happening at 9pm to celebrate as well as doing Auld Lang Syne at midnight which we sang along as well as people wishing each other happy new year as well as me getting an photo with John and everyone dancing and enjoying themselves.
