The Mule

I went to the Balmoral Cinema on Friday to see the movie The Mule. Earl Stone(Clint Eastwood) an 90 yer old Korean war veteran and horticulturist who is going through financial ruin and has been estranged from his family. He is desperate for money which he gets involved with drug cartel which he becomes the mule and transport cocaine through Illinois and he gets paid for it which he pays for his granddaughter's wedding and education. Colin Bates(Bradley Cooper) joins the Drug Enforcement Administration to help to narrow the deliveries and there is tension in the cartel when the boss Lartle(Andy Garcia) is shot by an hungry power lieutenant who also demands that Earl is to be under tight control and it gets interesting. It's FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT with Top, Fabulous and Brilliant acting by Clint Eastwood who also directed and produced it, Bradley cooper, Laurence Fishburne, Andy Garcia, Dianne Wiest, Michael Pena and Clint's real life daughter Alison Eastwood and Nick Schenk did the screenplay. This is Clint's first acting performance since 2012 with Trouble With the Curve and at age 88 he still has it and his acting in this movie is just an FANTASTIC as anytime. I give this 4 and an half stars and it's in the cinemas now as it was released on Thursday so do yourselves an favour and see it.
