Little Red Rider by Michael Nesmith and the First National Band (1970)

In 1970 Michael Nesmith left the Monkees and formed his band the First National Band. In that year he and the First National Band released an album called Magnetic South which had the hit single Joanne which went to number 3 in Australia and number 21 in the USA. There is an track on the album called Little Red Rider and it went to number 16 in Adelaide in 1970 where it stayed there for 6 weeks. It's amazing that it was an only hit in Adelaide but no where else in the world.
