Music The Air That I Breathe by Cliff Richard


 This is the new album by legendary British singer Cliff Richard and   5 tracks  had been recorded before never released and 7 are newly recorded  as the tracks are mainly covers including Here Comes The Sun, Too Much heaven, Where Or When, Let It be Me and others as well as duets with Albert Hammond, The Bellamy Brothers and Bonnie Tyler. It is an FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and an SUPERB album with great songs and an great vocal performance by Cliff who is still sounding  great at age 80 as he just turned 80 an month ago. It has gone to number 3 in the UK and number 99 in Australia so far and in achieving that in the UK Cliff has become the first artist to have an Top 5 UK album in 8 consecutive decades which it's an great achievement for some one who has been on the UK music scene since 1958 and still doing it wonderful. he is singing better than ever and does those songs very well. This is an must for Cliff Richard fans and I give it 4 and an half stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will love it.

Vale Peter Flanagan(the Fauns/The Flanagans)

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Peter along with brother Paul and Sister Margaret began as the Fauns in 1959 as they had been doing classical music training which they released 3 singles on the Leedon label- Dance With Me/Don't Take the Stars, We Should Be Together/While Susan Sleeps and Nursery Rhymes Rock and as the Flanagans they released 4 singles on the HMV label-He/Wonderland Of Love and Dreams(1965), Follow the Wind/Land OF Beyond(1965), You Were Meant FOr Me/That's How Man Began(1966) and This is My Song/For Bobby(1967). the group did appearances on Bandstand,Six O'Clock Rock, Teen Time, The Johnny O'Keefe Show, Sing Sing Sing, the Mike Walsh Show, IMT, Revue 61, Revue 62 and many others as well as performing on the Matt Munro TV special in 1966 as well as performing in the clubs too as well as co writing the song

This is the book about 2 iconic Australian music shows that were on Channel 0 (now Channel 10)back in the 60's The Go Show on August 4th 1964 which lasted for 3 years and 222 episodes until September 17th 1967 and Kommotion hosted by Ken Sparkes was on from December 13th 1965 until September 28th 1967 after 356 episodes and in the book it has the info about both shows as well as episode guides as well the discography of both the Go label and the Kommotion label and the people who worked on Kommotion including Denise Drysdale and Molly Meldrum and many others including some memorabilla and photos of the artists.
