Misbehaviour

On Friday I went to the South bank Cinema to see the movie Misbehaviour. It's London 1970 and the Miss World Championship is happening with Bob Hope (Greg Kinnear) hosting it. Meanwhile Sally Alexander (Keira Knightley) an single mother  joins up with an group of women as part of the newly formed Women's Liberation Movement which also has Jo Robinson (Jessie Buckley) feel that the beauty competitions are demeaning to women and they plan to invade the stage and disrupt the live broadcast which gets interesting. It's FANTASTIC, very funny and very entertaining with great acting by Keira Knightley, Jessie Buckley, Greg Kinnear, Gugu Mbatha Raw who plays Jennifer Hosten, Lesley Manville who plays Bob Hope's wife Delores, Rhys Ifans as Eric Foley and Keeley Hawes as Julia Morley. It's directed by Phillipa Lowthorpe and produced by Suzanne Mackie and Sarah-Jane Wheale. It's an great story talking about when women were becoming an force in the world in the 70's and really making an mark as well as changing attitudes. I give it 4 stars as it's out now in the cinemas and do yourselves an favour and SEE IT which you will be amazed.
