It was also in 1960 that Jamie Horton put out an version of the song Robot Man which most music fans would know Connie Francis' version as that version was an hit in the USA, UK and Australia and Jamie's version was only an hit in Australia which went to number 56 in Australia and it went to number 5 in Perth which the Australian release was on the W&G label with a picture of Jamie.

On Thursday I went to the Events Cinemas at Carindale to see the movie Ticket To Paradise. David (George Clooney) and Georgia Cotton(Julia Roberts) who are divorced watch their daughter Lily (Kaitlyn Dever) graduate from college and she goes to bali with her friend Wren (Billie Lourd) for a holiday which it's while she's there Lily meets an man named Gede (Maxime Buttier) which she plans to marry. Both David and Georgia fly over to Bali which on the flight Georgia bumps into her boyfriend Paul (Lucas Bravo) who works on the plane and both Georgia and David plan to sabotage the wedding as well as prevent Lily from making the same mistake they did years ago which gets interesting. On Sunday I went to Kedron Wavell to see Australian singer Mirusia which it's my first time seeing her live and it was my first time seeing an afternoon show @ Kedron Wavell since October 6th 2019 when I saw Melly Melody doing the Doris Day Tribute Show. I caught the bus from the city to Chermside, had an look at Dymocks and QBD and walk to Kedron Wavell. Show my card, rang home, ate chips, drank Coke Zero, bought program and the Songbird CD, went up to the Blue Pacific Room, use mobile and met an few people on my table including Catherine and Jeanette. Elvis Presley and Tom Jones Tribute Show @ Holland Park Sports Club

Last Friday night I went to the Holland Park Sports Club (formerly Bowls Club) to see the Duo Romio N Juliette doing an ELvis and Tom Jones tribute show which it was the first time I have seen the duo in over 10 years and it was the first time in 6 years since Saturday October 15th 2016 when I was last there as it was Lori Lee's from rockabilly birthday party. I caught the bus from Carindale to Garden City, caught the bus from Garden City and to Holland Park and walk to the Sports Club. Rang home, went to the Food Truck, ordered Chicken Wings and Chips, saw Bruno from Romio N juliette, got the meal, bought Coke With No Sugar, paid the 10 dollars, went inside and ate Chicken Wings and Chips for dinner. Australian Buddy Holly Show @ Wynnum Bowls Club

This afternoon I went to the Wynnum Bowls Club to see the Australian Buddy Holly Show which it was my 3rd time seeing them this year as I saw it twice at Twin Towns Tuesday June 7th and at Queen Elizabeth Park stage Friday june 10th during Cooly Rocks On. I caught the bus to Wynnum from the city which I had been to church, walk to the Club, saw Les who plays with Issi Dye in Queensland, saw Fiona who I knew from an disabilty group called Arad which finished 2 years ago, bought Coke Zero, went to the table where Fiona was and met some of her friends including Maria which I amazed them with my memory and telling them which musicians who have the same birthday as them. The show started at 2pm with Bill, George and Gail doing 20 Flight Rock and then Kris Knight came on stage which in the first did some of the Buddy Holly songs as well as the rock and roll classics by Jerry Lee Lewis, ELvis Presley and Ritchie Valens that set ended with La Bamba and Kris came in the audience which some of...
