The Straight Life by Val Doonican

Val Doonican Irish singer who had an string of hit singles since 1964 on the UK charts including Walk Tall, The Special Years, Elusive Butterfly, What Would I Be and many others as well as having his own TV shows Singalong Saturdays and Date With Doonican had an single out in 1970 with an song called The Straight Life which was not an hit overseas and was not even an Australian hit but it went to number 42 in Hobart in May 1970 which it stayed in the charts there for 6 weeks and Ken Woodman did the arranging.
