This album was also the soundtrack album from the movie of the same name that he starred with Laurence Olivier and Lucie Arnaz  which it was the 4th remake of the movie as the original movie starred Al Jolson in 1927. The album was recorded at Arch Angel Studio and the Record Plant(Los Angeles), Sunset Sound Recorders and Cherokee Studios (Hollywood) and Downbreaker Studio (San Fernando) all in California and it was released November 10th 1980 which went to number 3 in the USA, number 3 UK, number 10 Australia and number 24 in New Zealand  as well as going platinum in the USA and UK, double platinum in Canada and South Africa and Gold in Hong Kong. For the classic album segment let's have an look at the 1980 album Dark Room by legendary Australian rock band the Angels. It was recorded at Alberts, EMI and Paradise Studios in Sydney and Westlake Audio in Los Angeles and it was released on June 16th 1980 which went to number 6 in Australia and number 37 in New Zealand.  From the album it had the 3 hit singles No Secrets written by Graham Bidstrup and Doc Neeson, Poor Boy and Face The Day and it was produced by John and Rick Brewster and Graham Bidstrup who produced the first track No Secrets. The rest of the tracks on the album written by Rick and John Brewster and Doc Neeson  including  one the 3 of them wrote with Graham Bidstrup and Mark Opitz was the Engineer along with Dave Maret (EMI) and Dave Cafe(Paradise). This is the new CD by the legendary Australian singing group as this is the first Volume  of Hidden Treasures the Rarities Collection and it has the 7 live tracks that they performed at the Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne 1967 which they performed in front of 200,000 people as well as jingles for 3AK as well as coca cola as well as songs they did with Frankie Davidson as well as the live show at the Festival Hall in Melbourne in 1965 and others. It's FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with great songs  which some of those had never been released before including those 7 tracks at the Myer Music Bowl show and others that were released on the 5-CD set that came out in 1995 after their ARIA Hall of Fame induction  and it's so good to see other Seekers stuff that hasn't been released until now. This is an must for Seekers fans and I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will love it. Let's Get the Seekers in the charts again....

this is the second book by American singer-songwriter Tori Amos and in this book she talks about her starting performing as an teenager, her mother's passing in 2019, being in New York during September 11th 2001, performing in Russia in 2014 and others. It's impressive and very entertaining with impressive and entertaining stories and an enjoyable read as well which I enjoyed reading it.   I give it 4 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed.
