For the classic album segment let's have an look at the 1980 album Dark Room by legendary Australian rock band the Angels. It was recorded at Alberts, EMI and Paradise Studios in Sydney and Westlake Audio in Los Angeles and it was released on June 16th 1980 which went to number 6 in Australia and number 37 in New Zealand. From the album it had the 3 hit singles No Secrets written by Graham Bidstrup and Doc Neeson, Poor Boy and Face The Day and it was produced by John and Rick Brewster and Graham Bidstrup who produced the first track No Secrets. The rest of the tracks on the album written by Rick and John Brewster and Doc Neeson including one the 3 of them wrote with Graham Bidstrup and Mark Opitz was the Engineer along with Dave Maret (EMI) and Dave Cafe(Paradise). It's an great album which holds up so well to the day and it still rocks with great songs which has stood the test of time as next month will be 40 years when it came out. It's 7 years since Chris Bailey passed away and 6 years since Doc passed away but the work they made lives on forever including this album which it's a classic. This was also their first album for CBS/Epic and it was Graham Bidstrup's last album with the Angels.
