
This is the memoir of American musician and record producer Ted Templeman and in this book he talks about his upbringing in Santa Cruz, being exposed to music at an young age which his grandfather first introduced him to Black music as well as learning to play different instruments including drums, played in an Jazz trio, played in an local rock and roll group called the Dukes, formed an group with Dick Scoppttone and Dick Yount called the Tikis before becoming Harper's Bizzare who would some chart success including Feelin Groovy (The 59th Street Bridge Song), becoming an tape listener at Warner Brothers, becoming an record producer working with the Doobie Brothers, Van Morrison, Carly Simon, Van Halen, Eric Clapton and others. It's FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with FANTASTIC and AWESOME stories told by Ted and it is co written with Greg Renoff who has written stuff for Guitar world, LA Weekly as well as written an book about Van Halen. This is an must for rock music fans and I give it 5 stars which it's in the shops so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you'll be amazed and impressed.
