Charlie's Good Tonight by Paul Sexton

This is the authorised biography of the Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts written by Paul Sexton and in this book it talks about his upbringing in London, getting into Jazz music, getting his first drum at age 14, playing in the Joe Jones Seven which became the Joe Jones All Stars and Blues Incorporated with Alexis Korner, joining the Rolling Stones in January 1963 which would last 58 years and achieving great success, his marriage to Shirley that lasted for 57 years, battling his demons including drugs in the 80's, playing in his own jazz band, his interests in Cricket and Collecting and many others. It is FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with FANTASTIC and AWESOME stories as well as impressinve and very entertaining which it's worth an read. Paul Sexton has done an great job with this book and Charlie's family co-operated with the book as well as interviews with family and friends including some of his bandmates and also both Mick Jagger and Keith Richards did the forewords and former manager Andrew Loog Oldham did the prelude. It has been an year since Charlie Watts' passing but has left an great legacy of music with the Rolling Stones which lives on and the Rolling Stones have done an European tour as part of their 60th anniversary when they were formed.
