Last night I went to Kedron Wavell to see legendary American singer Gary Puckett and the Union Gap which was my 3rd time seeing Gary live. Dad took me to the bus stop, caught bus to the city, caught bus to Chermside and walk to Kedron Wavell. Went to the Kitchen, rang Dad, ordered my meal, bought Coke With No Sugar, had Portugese Chicken for dinner, drank Coke With No Sugar, use my mobile, Had Banana Split for desert and went up to the Blue Pacific Room. The show started at 7pm with footage of Gary Puckett and the Union Gap on the Ed Sullivan Show in the late 60's and then Gary Puckett and the Union Gap came on stage which for the next 1 hour and 40 minutes performed the hits from the 60's including Lady Willpower, Woman Woman, Over You and Young Girl as well covers of other songs which was on the early albums including Simon and Garfunkel's Keeping The Customer Satisfied, Manfred Mann's The Mighty Quinn, To Love Somebody (The Bee Gees) and Kentucky Woman(Neil Diamond) as well as an song called Home which an tribute to the American and Australian war veterans showing footage of the soldiers and Gary telling stories about his career as well as encounters with Maurice Gibb, Glen Campbell and Priscilla Presley.
