Becoming Led Zeppelin
I went to the Events Cinema Carindale this afternoon to see the documentary about iconic British rock band Led Zeppelin and in the documentary it has interview with surviving members Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones as well as archival interviews with John Bonham as well as talking about their upbringings in London, their musical influences, the bands they played with Robert and John in A Band of Joy and Jimmy being in the Yardbirds, John Paul Jones and Jimmy being session musicians, forming Led Zeppelin, touring America and many others as it goes to January 1970. It is AMAZING, AWESOME, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with AMAZING interviews and amazing footage some have never been seen before. It is directed by Bernard MacMahon who also did the screenplay with Alison McGourty and it an amazing journey from their humble beginnings to huge success with years of other music experinces behind them the documentary is well worth watching and for music fans to learn about this iconic band. Led Zeppelin disbanded in 1980 with the passing of John Bonham but the great music they made lives on and their influence on rock music still there today. This is an must for Led Zeppelin fans and I give it 5 stars as it's in the in the cinemas now so do yourselves an favour and SEE IT which you will be impressed and entertained.
