Then and Now Australia Salutes the Beatles

It was 50 years in June this year when the Beatles did their one and only Australian tour and what an impact it would change the fabric of Australian society forever as well as a lasting impact on music as well as many of the Australian groups of the 60's would be influenced by them as well as forming groups and there is a CD called Then and Now Australia Salutes the Beatles. IN this double CD it has Australian acts covering the Beatles songs from people like the Bee Gees, Little Pattie, Colleen Hewett, Johnny Young, John Farnham, The Seekers, Zoot, The Vines, Hoodoo Gurus, Jenny Morris, Marty Rhone,You AM I John Waters and many others. It is SUPERB and BRILLIANT with great songs which sounds so good and it holds up so well on CD which it is great to see the Rajahs (formerly the R'Jays who backed up Australian rocker Dig Richards for a time) on the CD too. The concept was done by legendary Australian music historian Glenn A Baker who also did the track selection with John O'Donnell and Debaser id the art work. This is a must for any Australian music fans and I am giving this 4 and a half stars which it's in the shops now so do yourself a favour and BUY IT.
