Good Times

It's 50 years ago this year when the Australian music label Alberts Production was founded by Ted Albert who was from a family who had operated and owned the music publishing house J Albert & Son which it would become of of the most iconic and respected record labels in Australia and it is still going to this day with David Albert the nephew of Ted as managing director and also there is a 5 CD set that is out called Good Times celebrating this special milestone. On this 5 CD boxed it has the classic hits with acts who recorded for Alberts like Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs, the Easybeats, Bobby and Laurie, The Throb, Ted Mulry, Stevie Wright, AC/DC,Flash and the Pan, mark Williams, Dallas Crane, Cheetah, The Angels etc as well as there is live recordings on it as well as Doc Neeson doing Walking In the Rain. It is AWESOME,SUPERB and BRILLIANT and it really ROCKS with great songs which holds up so well to this day as well as timeless quality and it is so enjoyable to listen to. Amy Burrows did the design and Anthony O'Grady, Philip Mortlock, Maree Nardone and Sam Horsburgh did the liner notes and annotation. It is amazing that this label has survived for 50 years with great acts recording for this label and may it continue for a long time yet. This CD set is a must for Australian music fans and I am giving this 5 stars which it's in the shops now do yourself a favour and BUY IT.
