Richard Clapton the Best years Of Our Lives

The Best Years Of Our Lives is the autobiography of legendary Australian singer-songwriter Richard Clapton. In this books he talks about meeting the Rolling Stones in 1965, going to Europe in 1967 until 1972, began recording for Festival Records where he would have success with hits like Girls on the Avenue, Deep Water, Goodbye Tiger, Lucky Country as well as recording for WEA and Mushroom Records as well as working and partying with the big names of Australian and international music as well as talking about the drugs and alcohol as well as the partying, the constant recording and partying and many others. It is a SUPERB and an BRILLIANT book with great stories as well as funny, insightful and poignant which I enjoyed reading it very much. Richard Clapton is still recording and still touring and it is hard to believe that it is 40 years since he came on the scene and is still going strong as ever. This book is a must for any Richard Clapton fan as well as fans of Australian music and I am giving this 5 stars which it is currently in the shops now so do yourself a favour and BUY IT.
