This is the new compilation that has recordings by Australian acts in the 70's and 80's on the Fable, Image, Bootleg and Avenue Records which it's the follow up to the first CD that was out last year and it has the recordings by the Mixtures, Jimmy Hannah, The Strangers, Normie Rowe, Colleen Hewett, Bobby and Laurie, Jimmy and the Boys, Bill and Boyd, Brian Cadd and others. It's Fantastic, Brilliant and Superb with Fantastic and Brilliant songs that has stood the test of time and still sounds great today. It's very well put together with Warren Barnett doing the mastering and it's great to see those songs on CD. it's an must for Australian music of the 70's and 80's and I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will love it.

This is the new compilation double CD by legendary Australian rock group the Screaming Jets and in this double CD it has the hits like Better, C'mon, Shine On, Helping Hands and others from 1990-2016. It's AWESOME, Brilliant and Superb with great rockin songs which still sounds great after all these years and it holds up very well. The group are still around with original founding members lead singer Dave Gleeson and bass guitarist Paul Woseen and are currently on tour celebrating 30 years when they started which this week are doing Queensland shows up till next weekend. This is an must for Screaming Jets fans and I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you'll love it as I'm sure it bring back memories for those who grew up in the 90's when this band were on the scene.

On Friday night I went to the Balmoral cinema to see the new version of Aladdin. Aladdin (Mena Massoud) an street urchin living in the desert with his pet monkey Abu rescues Princess Jasmine of Agrabah(Naomi Scott) who sneaks out of the palace and growing tired of an sheltered life and she does not tell him who she is pretending to be an handmaiden for the Princess. Jafar (Marwan Kenzari) is tired of being second best is planning to depose The Sultan (Navid Negahba) as ruler of Agrabah. The Hustle

This afternoon I went to South Bank Cinema where I saw The Hustle. Penny Rust (Rebel Wilson) and Josephine Chesterfield(Anne Hathaway) meet on an train going to the French Rivera which they are con artist to swindle men and they were against each other initially but Penny asks Josephine to teach her how to con the way she does. It works at first but then they compete to trick an rich tech wiz named Thomas Westerberg(Alex Sharp) and it gets interesting. It's excellent, very wacky, very funny and very entertaining with great acting by Anne Hathaway, Rebel Wilson, Alex Sharp, Ingrid Oliver and Dean Norris. It's directed by Chris Addison and produced by Rebel Wilson and Roger Birnbaum. It is well worth seeing and it's an great laugh. I give this 4 stars and it's in the cinemas now so do yourselves an favour and see it which you'll be entertained.

Gold Dust Woman show @ Easts Leagues Club

On Saturday night I went to Easts Leagues Club to see the Gold Dust Woman show which it's an tribute to both Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac as it's my first seeing it but my third time seeing the singer Joanne Elbers. Dad took me to Easts Leagues Club, had Veal Parmaginia , chips and salad for dinner, drank Coke Zero, had Chocolate Diane and Ice Cream for desert, did writing and drank water. The show started after 8pm which started the first set with Edge of Seventeen and then the rest of the set doing Fleetwood Mac classic hits from the 70's and 80's with Joanne doing the Stevie lead vocals as well as Scott Whatman doing the Lindsey Buckingham lead vocals and Billie-Lee MacFarlane doing the Christine McVie lead vocals as well as Joanne telling the info about the songs and there was an interval where I had an coke zero to drink and did writing. Killer Queen @ Kedron Wavell

On Friday I went to Kedron Wavell to see Queen tribute Killer Queen which it's my 5th time seeing them. Dad took me to Cannon Hill, drank coke Zero, caught bus, got off @ Chermside and walk to Kedron Wavell. Went to Café, rang home, had Nachos for dinner which took 40 minutes to come, drank Coke, ate Brownie Sundae, went to Blue Pacific Room, which I saw Paula and took photos. The show started @ 8pm with Killer Queen coming on stage which started off with We Will Rock You and going through the first half doing the classic Queen songs including an ballad Save Me as well as the piano player playing acoustic guitar on Crazy Little Thing Called Love as well as John getting the crowd to sing along to the songs. I went to the Balmoral Cinema this morning to see the movie Poms. Martha (Diane Keaton) has moved into the Sun Spring retirement Village where she meets Sheryl (Jackie Weaver) and along with Alice(Rhea Perlman), Helen(Phyllis Somerville), Olive(Pam Grier), Evelyn (Ginny McColl), Phyllis(Patricia French) and Ruby (Carol Sutton) to form an cheerleading squad despite some reservations about their ages and with the help of Chloe (Alisha Boe) they start to shape up and it starts to get interesting. It's FANTASTIC, very funny, very witty and very entertaining with great acting by Diane Keaton, Jackie Weaver, Pam Grier, Rhea Perlman, Phyllis Sommerville, Ginny McColl, Patricia French, Carol Sutton, Celia Weston, Alisha Boe, Charlie Tahan and Bruce McGill. Top End Wedding

This afternoon I went to the Events Cinema to see the Australian movie Top End Wedding. Lauren(Miranda Tapsell) and Ned(Gwilym Lee) who are engaged and want to get married 10 days go up to Darwin to have the wedding with her family but when they arrived they see her father (Huw Higginson) and they found out that their mother have gone AWOL somewhere in northern Australia so it's up to Lauren and Ned to look for her while her boss Hampton(Kerry Fox) help organizes the wedding and it gets interesting. It's FANTASTIC, very funny and very entertaining with FANTASTIC acting by Miranda Tapsell who also co wrote the film and executive producer, Gwilym Lee, Tracy Mann who plays Ned's Mother, Kerry Fox, Huw Higginson, Shari Sebbens and Ursula Yovich. It's directed by Wayne Blair and produced by Rosemary Blight, Kate Croser and Kylie Du Frense. This is an very fine Australian movie and it is well worth seeing. On Thursday night I went to the QPAC Concert Hall to see the Go Show Gold an tribute to the Australian music show the Go Show and it was my 4th time seeing the show which has an lot of great acts of Australian music from the 60's and 70's. Dad took me to Cannon Hill, caught bus to South Bank, went to Cactus Republic where I had Pork nachos for dinner, went to QPAC where I saw Pauline, Maryanne Hambrecht(Ex St Andrews) and her husband, Tyler with his dad, took bag to the cloak area, saw Anne Worsley(Tony's wife), Maggie, Lorraine and Leanne as well as meeting Ellie the wife of Steve of the Beatlegs who passed away recently, went inside and spoke to an lady next to me while on the screen had great clips of Australian acts.
