Aladdin
On Friday night I went to the Balmoral cinema to see the new version of Aladdin. Aladdin (Mena Massoud) an street urchin living in the desert with his pet monkey Abu rescues Princess Jasmine of Agrabah(Naomi Scott) who sneaks out of the palace and growing tired of an sheltered life and she does not tell him who she is pretending to be an handmaiden for the Princess. Jafar (Marwan Kenzari) is tired of being second best is planning to depose The Sultan (Navid Negahba) as ruler of Agrabah. Aladdin while trapped in an cave finds an magic lamp which the Genie (Will Smith) comes out and grants Aladdin 3 wishes which the first one was to make him an prince to impress the Princess and it gets interesting. it's FANTASTIC, very funny and very entertaining with great acting by Will Smith, Naomi Scott, Mena Massoud, Marwan Kenzari, Navid Negahba and Nasim Pedrad. Guy Ritchie directed it as well as doing the screenplay with John August and producers were Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich. I am giving this 4 stars as it's in the cinemas now so do yourselves an favour and see it.
