No Walls and the Recurring Dream by Ani DiFranco

This is the memoir of American singer-songwriter Ani DiFranco and in this book she talks about her upbringing in Buffalo New York, getting her first guitar, playing with her guitar teacher Michael Meldrum doing Beatles songs as well as busking, starting to write songs at an young age, playing in small clubs and festivals, made her first album at 18, starting her own record company called Righteous Babe Records, working with people like Pete Seeger, Utah Phillips, Maceo Parker, social and political activities and others. It's an fantastic and excellent book with great and impressive stories as well as enjoyable and entertaining to read. Ani is still recording and touring as she is currently on the road around America at the moment. This is an must for 90's and 2000s music fans and I give it 4 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you'll be impressed.
