This is the autobiography of legendary Australian singer John Paul Young and in this book he talks about his childhood in Glasgow Scotland, emigrating to Australia in the 1962 where he and his family settled in Sydney, playing in an band called Elm Tree, had his first hit with Pasendena, doing the musical Jesus Christ Superstar, having the success throughout the 70's with Yesterday's Hero, I hate The Music, Standing In the Rain, Love Is In The Air and many others, working with Harry Vanda, George Young, Molly Meldrum, Ted Mulry, Sherbet, Stevie Wright, Ricky May and many others. It's an BRILLIANT, FANTASTIC and SUPERB book with FANTASTIC, very funny, very entertaining and impressive stories and It's been an long way to the top from Glasgow Scotland to Countdown to Love Is In the Air and now and it's an great to see someone from the golden era of Australian music to tell his side of the story which you will be impressed indeed and also Molly Meldrum does the foreword. John Paul Young is still touring Australia with the All Star Band including Ronnie Peel and Warren "The Pig" Morgan as well as doing the APIA Good Times tour at the end of the month. This is an must for Australian music fans as well as JPY fans and I am giving this 5 stars which it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will love it.
