Goats Head Soup by the Rolling Stones
In 1973 the Rolling Stones released the album Goats Head Soup which was recorded in Jamaica, London and Los Angeles which it was produced by Jimmy Miller as it was the last Stones album he produced and it went to number 1 in the UK, USA and Australia. It was from the album that had the hit single Angie which was an USA number 1 hit as well as number 1 in Australia and number 5 in the UK as well as Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (heartbreaker) going to number 15 in the USA and Star Star going to number 7 in Switzerland, number 16 in the Netherlands and number 32 in Germany. It is now out again on CD which I am reviewing the double CD edition and on the first CD it has the original tracks from the album but on the second CD it has some songs that were not on the album including Scarlet which Jimmy Page played on it as well as alternate mixes of some of the tracks as well as instrumental versions of certain tracks and an piano demo of one song. It's AWESOME, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with great songs which has stood the age of time and they get better and better with time as well as the rarities and alternate mixes are FANTASTIC too as just to imagine if certain songs would have gone on the album instead of others as well as alternate mixes as they are different to the songs we would know. It has gone to number 1 in the UK , number 19 in the USA and number 17 in Australia and it was remixed by Giles Martin who has done an great job. This is an must for Rolling Stones Fans and I am giving this 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will love it.
