On Saturday June 25th I went to Kedron Wavell where I went to see the Sunshine Records Story that starred legendary Australian singers Normie Rowe, Ross D Wylie and Tony Worsley and it was my second time seeing Ross D Wylie, 15th time seeing Normie Rowe which it's 15 years when I first saw him live and 16th time seeing Tony Worsley as it's 13 years when I first him live @ Coolangatta. Dad took me to Cannon Hill, caught bus to Chermside and walked to Kedron Wavell which I saw Gil Matthews who plays guitar with Normie Rowe as well as the drummer for Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs as well as Mondo Rock. The show started after 8pm with Mal Clarke guitarist from the Fabulous Blue Jays who backed up Tony Worsley back in the 60's , then Normie ROwe, Tony Worsley and Ross D Wylie came on stage which they did Glad All Over and then Tony did his set with Mal on guitar which included his hits from the 60's as well as doing covers including an great version of She's A Lady and there was an interval which I had a Coke Zero tod rink, went backstage with Suzy where I saw Normie, Trotta, Tony Worsley, Peter Vowles & Gil Matthews and Normie introduced me to Ross D Wylie, carry CD's for Suzy and met Mal Clarke in person as I am friends with him on Facebook. The show resumed with the Playboys with Trotta on Drums, Gil Matthews on guitar, Peter Vowles on Bass and Stephen Kelson on Keyboards doing the instrumental Exodus, Normie came on stage which he tells the story about the history of Sunshine Records which started by Ivan Dayman who managed Normie and Tony back in the 60's which was based in Brisbane and mentioned many of the acts who recorded for that label including Marcie Jones, Peter Doyle, Mike Furber and others, Ross D Wylie came out which he performed 2 of his hits as well as 3 covers and then Normie came out on stage which he performed some of his 60's hits as well as a song from 1975 called Elizabeth which was a number 1 hit in Brisbane and always does an great set which he gets the people to sing along and clapping along too. The finished around 10,45pm which Ross and Tony joined Normie doing Route 66 and Boom Boom and after the show they came out to sign stuff as well as having CD's on sale as well as Ross selling a DVD too and also there was a big line up which I saw Elaine, Daryl, Donna Gaye, Royleen, Leigh, Jillean and Anne(Tony's Wife) as well as getting the Cd's and the DVD's and also getting photos with Tony, Normie, Ross, Donna and Mal Clarke, saw Dad and Mum, had an Coke Zero to drink and came home.
