Infinite Tuesday An Autobiographical RiffMichael Nesmith

Infinite Tuesday An Autobiographical Riff is the memoir of American singer-songwriter and an member of the Monkees Michael Nesmith which I am reviewing the paperback version as it was released last year on hardcover. In this book he talks about his upbringing in Texas, going into the Air Force, getting his first guitar Christmas 1961, moving to Los Angeles where he performed at the Troubadour on Monday nights, auditioned for the Monkees TV show which he would get it as it would lead to the TV series that started in 1966 until 1968 as well as the group that would last until 1970, the issues behind the scenes, hanging out with John Lennon, Jack Nicholson and Jimi Hendrix, forming the First National Band, his solo career, pioneering music videos and many others. It's an great and FANTASTIC book with FANTASTIC stories brilliantly told by Mike and it's an enjoyable read. Mike performed in January with the First national Band doing 5 Shows in California and will be doing some shows with Mickey Dolenz in June. This book is an must for Monkees fans as well as fans of Mike Nesmith's solo work and I give it 4 stars which it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will enjoy it.
