Back To Our Roots by the Original Seekers

This is the new CD by legendary Australian singing group The Original Seekers(aka the Seekers) which has Bruce Woodley, Athol Guy and Keith Potger with guitarist and singer Michael Cristiano who has played with them since 1988 and going back to their roots when they started as 4 guys back to the late 50's and early 60's when Athol and Keith formed the Escorts but becoming the Seekers in January 1962 with Ken Ray as lead vocals but would leave an few months and was replaced by jazz singer Judith Durham which would become the line up that would have great success internationally with hits like I'll never Find Another You, A World Of Our Own, The Carnival Is Over, Georgy Girl and others. This CD has songs that they performed when they started as 4 guys as well as songs they wanted to sing but never did like End Of The Line, Sitting In Limbo, Adois Amor which they were offered it back in the 60's but didn't do it which was an big hit for Jose Felicano, All The Road Running as well as new version of I Am Australian and many others. It's FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with FANTASTIC songs and brilliant harmonies by the guys which they are sounding great with Michael Cristiano who produced it with Graham Simpson doing the notes in the booklet as well as Keith Potger doing the vocal arrangements which they do an Fantastic job doing these songs and it's great to hear the guys sing as it comes full circle for the Seekers story as not many people would know their history unless if you are an music buff like myself and others who are into it. This is an must for Seekers fans and I am giving this 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will love it which it be an hit album for sure.
