This is the autobiography of Australian singer-songwriter and bush storyteller Ted Egan and in this book he talks about his upbringing in Cooburg Melbourne, teaching an bush school, working and living in Queensland and Darwin, his 2 marriages, recording in the late 60's with successful albums like Outback Australia, Bush Races, The Urapanga Frog Australian Songs For Children, working with people like Charley Pride, Goff Mack, Slim Dusty, Kris Kristofferson and others and serving as an Administrator of Northern Territory as working with Aboriginal people in the Gulf Country and others. It's FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with FANTASTIC, SUPERB and Entertaining stories told by Ted and it's an great read to learn about how this man has done an lot for Australia as well as the generosity. Ted is still active today recording and performing and this is an must for Australian country music fans which I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you'll be impressed.
