This is the biography of Australian singer and frontman of the legendary Australian rock band The Angels Doc Neeson and in this book it talks about Doc's upbringing in Adelaide after coming from Ireland, playing in bands The Joneetons and the Innocents, running dances in Adelaide, doing national service, going to Flinders University where he studied Drama and Film, joined an jug band called the Moonshine Jug and String Band which included the Brewster Brothers John and Rick which would become the Keystone Angels and eventually the Angels who would achieve great success with classic songs including Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again, Coming Down, Shadow Boxer and No Secrets as well as albums including Dark Room, No Exit and Face To Face, his showmanship, his 2 marriages, Anne talking about first Seeing Doc at Coolangatta and many others. It's FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with AWESOME, Impressive and very entertaining stories and an it is worth an read as it's great to see an biography about Doc. Anne Souter was Doc's partner in his final years and Jon Bradshaw knew Doc in Adelaide in the 60's. It's 7 years since Doc Neeson passed away after his battle with an Brain Tumor but the music he made with the Angels lives on forever and still gets played to this day. This is an must for fans of the Angels ands I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be amazed and impressed.
